I'm a cheapskate. I use the Armor All shine in the aerosol can. Works good for me. Also works real good on trim pieces
I do like to use it on the trim pieces

If I need to, I'll use Aerospace 303.

I'll clean the wheels spray on when wet, use a light duty brush to agitate the surface, then usually spray off again or wipe off. It's water based and its only used as a cleaner and protector. It doesn't shine, drip or splatter and provides a nice clean matte shine to the wheel.

I have one pic of it on a Subaru Crosstrek:

This was the rare occasion that I take the tires off and deep clean them. The reason was that the Toyo's seems to want to stay brown. TBH, I never really liked the way the Toyo's cleaned up no matter what I did.

Most times, I opt for this look instead:

You can tell by the location of the pics why I've given up on glossy shines lol. Just clean rubber does it for me. I'll make sure to take a pic of the new KO2's I just installed on the MAV when I get them their initial "from the factory" deep clean - should be today (it's 2am currently and I'm an insomniac). But I plan on doing a Graphene coating today as well. I was waiting for the new tire setup before I even bothered to cover all bases.

Things like Armor all actually attract dirt. The more gloss you see, the more exterior slime there is for the particles to attach to, then work themselves into the rubber. I've bought overpriced Chemical Guys stuff in the past. Pretty much use a whole bottle just to get the basics you can achieve with much simpler methods. Keep in mind, I live in Montana with harsh environments and I still have no need to use "Strippers" or anything - even during winter.

I'm using the tire dressing that came with my truck from Ford. Works real well.

My go-to here lately is Meguiars Hyper dressing. I also like CG VRP diluted 1:1 which is also a very versatile product when diluted. Nice to use on engine bays and wheel wells. Another nice but pricier option is CarPro Perl. All of these are water-based products. They dry to the touch within minutes and do not sling. Their longevity all depends on weather conditions. Obviously if you drive through a monsoon then a majority of your shine will be depleted.
Your other options are silicone based tire shines. They provide you a really wet look but are greasy to the touch and really tend to sling even after sitting for a while. Some of the sling can be mitigated by wiping it afterwards and knocking down some of the shine but even then they will still sling to a degree. Even after the shine is gone some of the product is still left on the tire so for your next layer of dressing you'll need to prep the tire by cleaning it with a dedicated tire cleaner or a diluted or full strength degreaser.

I've had good luck with this stuff..... cheap, easy to use, tires don't even have to be clean. Leaves a nice satin finish, not too shiny. And it's made in the USA! 🤠

Same 303. I use it on my older classic cars to try and keep them from rotting.

Ok what are you using to keep you tires looking great? I had a go to for my other vehicles but it seems to not be lasting on the Maverick.....need some suggestions?
Water-based tire gel. Oil based/petroleum based products causes the rubber to deteriorate.

Permashine - I cleaned my tires twice prior to application. This chit is very "STICKY"!! Definitely need to wear gloves. I put on 2 coats with about 90 min in between. Says it cures in 24 hours and supposed to last up to a year (if it's a garage queen). I will check back in a month to see how shiny it still is. Happy with the results so far.
