Yup. I ordered my Bronco in May. Since I had no idea when it would be built, I ordered my Maverick and made a killing selling my Q50. Still don’t have a vin or build date on the Bronco. But I get to drive a brand new Lariat maverick until the Bronco is ready. Just hoping that I do alright on selling the maverick whenever the bronco is ready.
Also carb gray ftw

Hey Rambo,
with a picture of you or whoever unloading a gun in your profile did you "really made a killing"?
Dude, you have such bad taste.
What a diverse group of people is this Maverick attracting...

Assuming you already own another working vehicle, would you flip your Mav for a profit? Scenario: I bought my MAV @ Chapman 4% under invoice. I went to the parts department at the local dealer, and while I was waiting the used manager came up and said they would give me 2k over MSRP if I sold my truck.

After doing some quick rough math.

I would come out with a little over 2k profit after taxes paid.

It's not much, but I'm also on the fence about ordering a Hybrid, instead of sticking with my Ecoboost.

Thoughts?
I would only consider an offer from the dealer just before the purchase is finalized. Before taxes, dealer fees, registration and all that adding up... otherwise you really don't get much $ if anything at all.
I also share the consideration of others in the forum expecting price increase coming soon from Ford for the 2023 Mav.

I’m contemplating it. I have a hybrid built waiting for oktb, and decided to go a different direction.

Maybe? I have also have a Fisker Ocean on reservation, and if that comes through, maybe flip the Maverick for that? Not sure yet. Then again, with the delays, the Ocean might be built before my Hybrid.

Lol

I’m armed for a living. And I train so that I can stay proficient and come home to my family every night. But maybe I should just not train and carry for a living.

Because it offends someone🙄

I dunno, the details on the Ocean don't look positive, like another 2 year wait unless I want the $70k model. I may be holding onto the Maverick

I've thought about it since the Mav was bought as a sceond car and my wife has not been driving our main car much. I had to take our Edge in to the Ford dealer today for a brake line recall repair and was amazed to see a new Bronco two door on the lot that listed for $56,xxx and had an extra sticker on it that said "Market Adjustment $15,000" for a total of over $71,000-WoW!!

Man, personally, once I get my hybrid, I’d have to be really dissatisfied with it to turn it around for $2k or even $4k profit. Might have $2-$4k in your pocket, but I wouldn’t have the Mav in my drive. Just me though.

I’ll own two mavericks come January. I’ll just need to decide if I want to keep the eco or hybrid.
