Anyone with tinted windows use the EGR window vents? Heard they can cause issues with pushing in the window trim and scratching the tint.

tint is on the inside, visors are on the outside. If you clean your channels occasionally you should be good. I use a brush to dislodge any grit.

Pretty much impossible for the plastic to scratch safety glass. If you get grit in the window channel from blowing wind it will scratch the glass, regardless if there's any vent visor in there or not.

I'm a big fan of in the in the channel window vents, but if they're done right with the right amount of trimming the stick on exterior ones really look sharp.

These are Ford OEM trimmed to fit perfectly.

I’ve used EGRs on a Bronco Sport & two Mavericks all with tinted front windows. Had the BS 12 months, no issues at all. One Maverick 6 months, no issues, no scratches on the one I have now. This was my 1st Maverick. Stretch to see vent shades better.

I find the EGR front visors come down out of the channel at the back. There is no tape on the front visor, so you'll need to add a few strips if you don't want it to rattle. I also had a problem this winter when my driver's window was seemingly pinched shut and would not open. It was very cold out and I don't think the window motor was up to the task. It did finally come down after a while.
I think Maxzina just came out with a set very similar but more narrow down at the bottom by the mirrors. The EGRs do block the mirrors a little bit. Not an issue for me.

Not my Maverick.
I have in the channel EGR's. The picture I posted is a random members picture I thought look nice because the rear one was trimmed so it didn't overshoot the rear window

Nice. Mine are Well Visors brand. I really like them because the fit like they were original and they don’t cover the mirror at all.

Like the picture I posted above #7. Only the upper corner of my passenger mirror is tinted by the visor. In reality if anything is THAT CLOSE, damage is already happening. 😲

All mavericks

all mavericks have rear window tinting. The tinting is on the inside. In-channel rain guards will not affect them. I have the EGR rain guards and they work perfectly. IMO they look a lot better than the stick on ones.

Just go with Weathertech front and rear....in channel. No runs, drips, or scratches.

Do the WeatherTech ones have those awful metal clips like they do on the f150 or are they adhesive?
