EGR In-channel Vent Window Visor Review

Wanted to post about the installation of the in-channel vent visors I just completed on my 2024 Terrain Tremor:

PROS
- excellent fit
- easy installation
- they look great (IMO, of course)
- quality "smoke" plastic
- fresh air introduction into the cabin
- they do slow down the window a little as the glass tries to seat into the channels, but I believe this will ease over time as everything wears and settles into place

CONS
- I'd say they're a little bit wider than they need to be
- not well designed regarding the passenger door mirror as they're too wide in front of the mirrors. From the driver's seat position, the visor covers the passenger mirror some when the visor doesn't need to. They need to lose about and inch or a little more right where they come down in front of both mirrors. Not a major problem, but it does partially block clear view down the passenger side of the truck.

Overall, a great addition to the truck for fresh air access, and some sun blocking.

Just thought I'd post for the folks considering getting a set of these.

Did you mean EGR Visors?

If so I have them on my 23 XL Hybrid and have the same opinion as you posted. Very happy with them. I especially like the sun blocking, which was a bonus because I did not realize this would be an added benefit.

Yes, I did mean the "EGR" visors, not ESG. Just did a search yesterday and saw some bantering back and forth about ESG, so I accidentally chose the wrong name from memory.

I liked the EGR look so I trimmed down the passenger side so I could see my mirror

I also have the EGR. I find the front visors tend to come down out of the channel at the back of the visor and rattle. The fronts don't come with tape to hold them in place, so I plan to add a few strips when it warms up a bit. The blocking of the mirrors is slight and not concerning to me. And in certain lighting conditions, they appear brown in color. Kind of the color of used motor oil. Otherwise, I am pretty happy with them.
I believe Maxzina just came out with a similar set of visors that don't block the mirrors. I've read a few posts about them and people seem to like them.

Yep tinted EGR's do darken some field of vision in the passenger mirror. That's why I prefer tinted over solid.
Zero blockage on the driver's side.

I always felt if something was that close to the truck, that I needed that portion of the mirror it was already too late.
