Hope this is true. I haven't picked up my LOBO yet and it was ordered back in August of 2024. Post here if you get employee pricing!

Ford Motor Company will offer employee pricing to all US shoppers: 'Handshake deal with every American'

The vehicle manufacturer called the new initiative a 'handshake deal with every American'

U.S. shoppers will be able to save on Ford vehicles this spring through a new initiative called From America, For America.

American consumers will have access to Ford's employee pricing from April 3 through June 2.

This means customers will pay the same amount as Ford's workers, which is below the dealer invoice price, a spokesperson for the automobile manufacturer told Fox News Digital in an email.

"We have the retail inventory to do this and a lot of choice for customers that need a vehicle," Ford Motor Company said in a statement.

During this period, shoppers will be able to save on 2024 and 2025 hybrid, plug-in hybrid, diesel and gas-powered Ford and Lincoln vehicles. The deal excludes the 2025 Expedition and Navigator SUVs, the Raptors and Super Duty trucks.

Electric vehicle shoppers through Ford's Power Promise will also receive a complimentary home charger and standard installation through June 30, according to the announcement.

Ford cited "uncertain times" and the "complexities of a changing economy" as reasons for the campaign's launch.

"For 121 years, we've put our money where our mouth is, assembling vehicles that Americans rely on and supporting American jobs," Ford said in a statement. "Today, we’re proud to announce a new U.S. initiative that's more than just a promotion. It's a handshake deal with every American."

Interesting but I can't help but wonder if employee pricing is now including price increases and prevents dealers from tacking on add -ons

I work @ a Ford dealer, in parts. What they mean is the vehicle itself will be @ employee price. Any addons whether dealer front loading or customer will be extra. Our new car SM never adds anything on to new ones. unless a customer specifically asks for it , Which is good and bad. I've seen a lot of dealers abuse it ($500 vehicle protection package + $100wheel lock kit+ ect ect). But
Sometimes people need to be shown what something could be, Like the little lift & tires I did on my Maverick, everybody here has raved about it. But he won't let us do a new one. So the used car manager is gonna find one to do it to, so we can put one on the lot :)

Because your SM is smart. As soon as you put a lift and tires on it the dealership is assuming the responsibility for any warranty work that is now not covered by Ford’s factory warranty.

Just curious is the employee pricing better, meaning a lower price than x plan pricing?

Oh I'm aware, I called around dealers and if they required add ons I stopped talking to them. The car I bought off the lot had add ons but that's because we started at 4$k off of MSRP and they wouldn't let me walk off the lot with that.

Seems like pricing will be about equal to the Granger retail order price. I'm wondering if I should buy a hybrid lariat off of inventory and sell my 2 month old Ecoboost haha.

a dealership salesperson just posted in a FB group:
"For Example: This Lobo on my lot MSRP$36,850.00.
Employee pricing $35,083.30."

I know a ton of people are going to ask about getting a rebate on a truck they already bought, that silliness has already started. The answer is NO. If you bought last month, last week, yesterday - sorry.

I assume employee pricing means no other discounts. So it's a minimal impact, since Ford already had between $750 and $1,000 off on Mavericks. They're playing a shell game to see what bait will get the fish to bite.

I was shopping last week for a trade and ended up saying "no thank you". They wanted $12,000 to replace my 2022 with an exact equivalent 2025 build (32,000 miles on mine) that was sitting on the local dealer lot. It would not have brought me $12,000 in happiness and satisfaction, which is my measure for when to upgrade.

I'm content to sit back with my popcorn and watch the show for now.

I bought a 2015 Fusion while Ford was promoting the "Friends and Family" offer. You had to choose from existing Dealer inventory, the price was set by Ford no negotiations. If you financed the purchase it had to be through Ford Motor Credit. I did not trade in a used vehicle, but trades were allowed. The promotion knocked about $2500 off the sticker.

Ford didn't have anything off of Mavericks. There have been no rebates (in my area at least).

Some dealers may have been offering discounts, but that isn't Ford.

This "employee pricing" program from Ford means the sale price (before add-ons/accessories etc.) will be the A/Z plan price, so under invoice. Not a huge savings on a Maverick, but some.

If there are other rebates, this should be compatible with them.

Dealers can choose whether to participate in this program or not.

It doesn't void any warranty, BTW ford has to honor the warranty unless they can prove the those specific accessories caused the issue. Idk why any dealers turn work away with certain things like that, the dealer makes money on warranty repairs.

There are hundreds of examples across the F-series, bronco, and this forum where Ford denied a warranty claim due to suspension modifications for failed CV axles and the like.

Yes your dealer could probably do the lift and tires and if the customer brought it back have the tech not note that there are lift and tire modifications done and get it warrantied but I just think your SM is smart to not go the TCC customs route and mess with what is new before a customer purchases it.

it'll be more helpful on higher trim / higher cost Mavericks than on an XL.

I have no idea why Scott poo-pooed it. he either didn't read my post right before his with an example >$1800 savings on a Lobo 402A, or he's not in the market and he's just going to downplay it regardless.

I'm definitely not in the market with a HS senior going to college in the fall, but I know this promotion is a big deal for anyone considering a Ford. a bigger deal for F-150, Explorer, Expedition etc. But there has never been a price incentive like this on a Maverick.
