I’m an Aircraft Mechanic for a Large Airline based in Atlanta GA, I have started seeing new XL Hybrid’s showing up at our GSE.
For many years we only bought Fords, but after Ford quit making The Ranger in 2012, they were forced to look elsewhere for small trucks.

We starting getting Chevy Colorado’s. Happily it looks like we are back to Ford.!

XL hybrid, AC, AM/FM with plug, maybe cruise? No more than $25K right?

Said it from the beginning. Once things normalize, corporate and municipalities are going to snatch up low cost models like crazy, creating the volume Ford needs while the public upgrades in trim making Ford the profit they need.

The Maverick will cannibalize some F-150's and Rangers, but it's growth will be exponential worldwide enough to make it well worthwhile to Ford.

We're looking at the xl for work. Same price or cheaper than many electric lsv options. Be crazy not to.

Most likely will have no options other than SIBL, The Hybrid should work great for us, as the speed limit on the ramp is 15Mph. Top speed on the Atlanta airport is 30mph

I work for a large airline based in Chicago and at my line station, the mechanics drive around with F250 crew cab 4X4 trucks. It’s crazy! I see no reason for this type of truck for the ramp. Our building maintenance guys drive around Ford Transit Connects though.
I can see the Maverick being the contractor vehicle of chose in the near future. My local dealer has rows of white Hybrid Maverick’s lined up behind their service shop waiting for fleet sales.

Exactly, we have 150’s 250’s both very hard to get around aircraft with all the equipment around, not sure if the Mav will be as good as our old rangers, but have to be better than the 250’s

I expect NAPA, AutoZone, Advance and O'Reilly to purchase or lease thousands of Mavericks. Maybe Orkin and utility locators as well.

There is a company on Maui that has 3 of em already. Said they got em for $18,500. Only option was the inverter. I think they were surveyors or county contractors.
