So it's the end of Q1, anyone know if there's a fix from Ford yet? Got three notifications in the past 5 days...

I have not heard of any fix from Ford. I was just there 2 weeks ago for the back up camera recall. In my experience if you start getting this message your battery is soon gonna need to be replaced. When I was getting these messages's my interior lights also did not work.

Battery saver response - lights off sooner & sooner, ect, are going to occur sooner than the deep sleep mode is used. But drivers may not notice until dark when they get in/out and observe lights off being immediate.
Soon after that the deep sleep kicks in to preserve the battery enough to start the truck.

There have been drivers in the forum with these issues for approaching a year, and dealership tests battery and it's good enough they won't do warranty replace.

So it's not exactly a sign it's about to die, obviously not a good battery state though.

Ford is to busy with the new latest recall of 1.3 million vehicle for transmission issues.

I think it will be the 1st quarter of next year, at the rate they move.

It seems like the biggest problem is in the app. Maybe it's continuously trying to connect to the truck more than it should and draining the battery that way.
That whole infrastructure, not just the app.

Many with 25MY were having issues even getting the app to recognize their profile and show their truck with any recent info, after maybe 1 successful upload from truck to Ford servers. Next one would fail, until customer service did some reset or user jumped thru hopes to get it to work 1 more time.

It sounded like the server records messed up.

That's all it would take, is truck reports it's status after last park and turnoff, but the server fails to note this correctly.
App goes to server record for current info, sees a stale record, so server attempts to get truck to upload data again.
Perhaps gets it, but fails to tag it with new time stamp yet again - repeat process.

Of course if the truck can't get on the AT&T cell network - nothing remote is kicking it off no matter what.
But what does the truck keep trying to do in that case, give up, keep looking for signal (which doesn't take much), or worse have terrible signal and keep failing to upload the current status, time after time?

Those described scenario issues is what I've already seen happen with other wireless systems, wifi or cellular. And I think from companies willing to spend more than Ford on that backend system. So would not shock me at all Ford would have the same issues or worse.

After they put in a new battery and since then I turned off all the connectivity and wifi crap I could in the infotainment screen. A bit crazy but I wrap my key in foil when I get home too.

Unless you have keyless entry/push button start - your fob isn't sending out anything until you press a button.

And in either case - because of a motion sensor it goes to sleep after a min of non-movement.

We should qualify for the Plug-in Hybrid Federal rebate since we have to plug the 12v battery in to keep it charged.
😃

My 2022 is on its 2nd battery, both started giving Deep Sleep messages at around 11 months.

Is your 2nd battery an EFB or AGM battery?

You do qualify for the new federal fine for using less crude oil and coal products.

If there was a fix made public we would have at least eight threads in here about it.

Do we even have anything official from Ford saying end of Q1, or are we just relying on stuff posted by people in here?

I was told 1st Quarter by Ford Customer Care. My dealership basically told me the same thing and suggested I call them. I will look at the work orders to see if it says it on any of those. It's not considered a safety issue so it may never become a recall. If enough people hsve or will file a report with NHTSA, they may push Ford. Right now Ford is under a quality watch by a third party and payed a huge fine for so many recalls with a slow response.

My call to Ford corporate care is taking place tomorrow. I will post what response I get from them. Also, everyone that has experienced the deep sleep problem should report this, as the post above suggests, to the NHTSA. Having the 12v battery being killed by the lack of properly recharging is a definite safety issue, if the vehicle may become unable to start. We all need to be aggressive, in demanding a fix, since Ford has obviously missed their own deadline.
