I'm considering purchasing a 2023 Mavrick Hybrid and I need to know how high the step up to get into truck if anyone can tell me. I know some trucks are too high for me, but I sure would like to have a truck that is not too hard to get into.

You'll want to know more than the front floorboard height then. Since the Maverick is a unibody vehicle, there is a door sill you have to step over that is a couple of inches higher than the floor board.

I have the 2024 hybrid, but I suspect it will be the same. Looks like 20 inches to the top of the sill.

What my PT taught me when i had my explorer which was higher - put the seat down and back, then back in. I don’t need to do that with my Maverick. But I still move the seat diwn and back in case my son, who is much taller and larger than me, drives it next.

I would suggest to go and try one. It's closer to an suv than a truck as far as height goes

My wife is around 5'4 and she has no problem getting in. My father is 5'3 and drives one too no problem.

OP: You'll like the height better than any other new pickup currently available. Similar to a lot of SUVs & crossovers (not the gargantuan dinosaur barges).

The AWD Maverick is slightly higher off the ground than FWD model.

Its higher than the Bronco Sport or the Escape that share the same floorpan, but not a lot more. My disabled wife can fairly easily get into it and could not get into the Ranger.

My 2024 Eco Lariat is one inch lower at the top of the seat cushion than was my 2021 Bronco Sport Base model, I measured when we traded. My wife is 5’2” and has limited mobility.
She said the Maverick was noticeably easier to get into.
