I was unable to find one via the normal places. Found it on the K&N website, free shipping and with tax was $54.59

If you care about your vehicle that is about the worst mod you could due to it.

They have horrible filtration and the air filter is a direct path of dirt/sand into your cylinders. A good air filter is more important than good oil in some respects.

There are threads on K&N filter efficacy on every car enthusiast website. Since the hybrid system in the Maverick is a pretty sophisticated setup, I doubt you will see any real improvement. But some people like racing stripes, oil catch cans, down pipes, the absolute largest wheel tire combinations and so on.
I tend to be a little skeptical whenever I see a K&N setup on a vehicle at a car show, especially if they have had to hack something up to fit it.

Man, are you driving through a coal mine or what? Why in the world would you already need to replace a 2025 air filter?

Some of us don't drive in the "Baja 500" so the K&N is more than sufficient.

Ya. I am a city dweller.
At 2.5 years and 33,000 miles mine looks about as good as new. I don't drive around sand, dirt, or coal dust. And zero snow. So zero salt on roads.

YMMV which makes K&N a solution for some and not others.

I have used them in two prior vehicles. Both were traded in at quarter million miles on the ODO and in top running condition.

Since you said that

But your present Maverick is a 2025 Hybrid, as your post says. So why do you need a new air filter already?

Deja’ Vu! Here we go again. I’ve had K&N filters in all my vehicles since the 80’s. Nary a problem, but then again I don’t live in the Sahara or Gobi deserts either. 😎

K&N filters can improve air flow when oiled and maintained properly, but properly is the key. Often times people will not clean them often enough or totally saturate the filter medium with oil which leads to reduced air flow and increased clogging of the filter.

For the Maverick hybrid you will not see any performance improvement and likely a reduction in fuel efficiency.

For an EB Maverick - the drop in filter will not improve performance. Go S&B cold air intake which enlarges the air intake and reduces the elbows in heading to your intake manifold.

Put a K&N filter in around this time last year, also ordered the cleaner kit this week. No issues, only had the filter for 18k miles or so. Also switched the the k&n oil filters since they are alot easier to replace with the bolt.

Seriously....buy Motorcraft or Wix if available and buy a K&N sticker if you just have to have one.

You can improve airflow even more if you just remove the filter altogether. That isn't the purpose of the filter. The purpose is to filter out particulate such as silica that scratches the heck out of your cylinders.

What little hp gain you'd get (1/2?) is greatly outweighed by the terrible filtering of the media itself and ensuing loss of compression.

Not sure why you chose me to reply to. Where did I support them?

Agree I do drive in the dust about 50 percent of the time. Sand dunes here in Michigan and the dusty roads of CO and Texas. Don’t get much worse than hill country dirt roads for dust.
All I ever hear is how they don’t work. Lol
Well I posted my last oil analysis that showed no silicate above average in my oil. And my previous vehicles setup the same way driven in bad conditions all made over 400k miles. As someone who drive 80k miles a year and do it in every condition one could think of. I can say I’ve never had a single issue related to running a KN style filter over the long haul.
In fact I used to race arc’s at the professional level for many years. Never had an issue with them in that environment either. Almost like the sae tests that kn passes is a good standard to go by.
