When I took a road trip it appeared that it took about 7 hours to charge my battery.
That's because over time the battery gets weaker due to running it down so low. Eventually, cells fail.

I guess my Canadian norms really did help avoid this issue altogether with the trickle charger and the actual battery charger when its -30 for a week and I haven't drove anywhere

My 23' Hybrid Maverick would go into Deep Sleep 15 minutes after arriving at work.....my commute to work, 50 miles, of which 39 of the last 40 are Interstate highway......driving more is NOT the fix!
More driving is actually the fix, but more freeway driving isn't. Neither is a lot of very short trips of the kind that maximize hybrid efficiency. Trips with a mile or two between stops seems to be what gets the most charge in the 12v.
Also, I notice that if I do a few-mile trip with the transmission in Sport mode when the battery is low*, the battery gets charged better

* i.e., when I notice the 12v port and Flexbed turn off as soon as I open the door when the truck is off. This happens well before it gets bad enough to trigger a sleep mode

Had the battery replaced under warranty for a 2023 Mavvy, about 10 months ago. Fuse 11 was pulled a month ago. My dome light is 75% of the time inoperable (off) which is a safety hazard at night and an embarrassing event when I have passengers

>> Yeah, buy a Ford NEW vehicle that decided to not give me lights in the cab for safety and visual functionality at night time

CMON FORD turn off some other function and let the light come on -- implement some logic FORD.

OK cooling down, I really like this trucklette but the company backing it needs some logic applied to ways!

THANK YOU!!!!! Ikeep trying to tell people to stop listening to the dead battery DIY fixes. Follow the Facts! The SSM clearly mention, and I quote, Engineering is currently working on a fix for an INTERMITTENT BATTERY DRAW. No repairs recommended at this time.
I had to wait for the battery to be below 40% capacity at 100% charged, before getting a replacement.
Dome lights quit working, radio and dash had message and shut down, key fob quit working, had to use key and finally had to jump it with a jump box.
It doesn't use 12v battery to start, but to run accessories and computers.
My dealer gave me a new battery on warranty when the only symptom was that the 12v port on the dash and the Flex bed connection both stopped working with the truck off. (They're supposed to stay on for some time (90 minutes?) after each trip.) No regular deep sleep issue. 24 XLT hybrid, was almost exactly a year old.

Whoa, slow down big fella! I posted basically the same thing about Ford a while ago and got slammed by just about half the people here.

I have been slammed and don't care! Junk is junk. Quality issues are out of hand. Make all the excuses and blame game you want. A THRE YEAR OR MORE ISSUE UNRESOLVED IS BS AND NOT MY PROBLEM! I'm not this vehicles personal charger.

I have found out this is a legal issue in at least 2 states. A dealer is required to let you know of any vehicle issues at the time of purchase. It's called fraud by one name.

There is no telling how Ford will choose to approach this problem. Almost certainly should involve a different battery larger and/or deeper cycle. Also a change in the charging parameters will be necessary. We will soon see if end of March happens.

I just went in to the dealer one month ago with a dead battery on a 8 month old hybrid. My 390 CCA was replaced with a 470 CCA battery. I was told this will PROBABLY HELP. I asked about the AGM battery and was told that in order to use that the charging parameters would need to be changed. If not the life of the AGM may be shortened. Why would you pay for something not covered snd possibly void any battery replacement when you have a warranty. Yes there is an SSM number, #53087 and a supposed fix or recall coming in the first. It has nothing to do with the battery.
They replaced mine recently also with the 470 CCA battery. I was getting the deep sleep alerts several times a day for a year. Don't know how long it's gonna last but it's nice to have the interior lights and all of the app features working again.

I find it interesting how varied our experiences are.

I park outside and I live in Wisconsin. Over the winter, I get the deep sleep notification regularly, but I only drive like six miles most days. Since I remote start from the keyfob in the morning, I don't really have any major issues. I wouldn't notice if the dome light wasn't on getting in.

As soon as the weather stops going below zero every day, everything goes back to normal. It'd be nice if it didn't do this, but it's only been a minor inconvenience (though I do keep a jump pack under the back seat to be safe).

(I'm also used to the deep freezes where temperatures stay below zero Fahrenheit for more than week at a time, where I used to have to drive my old car every day for like a half hour to make sure it'd start again the next morning -- and that was with a new battery. So, like, it's no worse than any other car in the winter where I live 😆)

Yup. Start your truck and fill your garage with carbon monoxide.
I doubt anybody would be that stupid.
If so it would be a good thing, cleaning out the gene pool, thinning the herd.
