Yes I have been talking with Glenda for weeks she’s definitely on top of this and a great communicator 😊
I am also waiting to see what they come up with as I have 2025 XLT base model. I want to get set up to flat tow by June if possible.

I’m hearing about 4 weeks or so for a RoadMaster baseplate - the Demco baseplate shortly afterwards i would assume and BlueOx is claiming their baseplate for the 2025 is ready now although I’m a skeptic on their solution (I have only flat towed with BlueOx over the years but have some concerns with their recently issues with the Maverick baseplates on past Maverick model years)

Everything I've researched and discussed with the baseplate manufacturers the challenge is Ford’s refresh on the 2025’s with the ACC Radar which was lowered creating the conflicts
But an XLT base would not have the ACC,,,,,,,

I would say if you don’t have ACC you can purchase one now even though RoadMaster is saying that one is only for the XL Trim I would call them you may be good

If you don't have ACC. Any of the baseplates for a first gen. (22-24) Maverick should work on the 2025s

So I got this from Glenda

"The adaptive cruise control was not a problem. I would lean to think that having the 4K we will be safe with the 2K."

Sounds like they are making a plate that covers both and the ACC isn't why they are having to redesign the plates.

I am hoping to see the photos of the first installation I did ask Glenda to provide some pictures hopefully the connection points are narrow in comparison to the BlueOx setup and require less notching of the front facial

Does that mean the problem is with the 4K towing package?

The instructions for the new Blue Ox baseplate indicate that the ACC merely needs to be temporarily unmounted during installation and then remounted just before the fascia is replaced. They warn you not to unplug it though.

It's a work in progress right now by Blue Ox. They are hoping to have the baseplate to market by 1 April.

The instructions for the new Blue Ox baseplate are on the Blue Ox website, complete with photos of an azure gray Lariat getting the treatment.
