Tim Bartz, FordVideoGuy, said months ago that when Ford says first quarter of 2025 they mean the last day of the first quarter. He should know and it looks like he was right again.

It was one the reasons tail pipes on station wagons, always opened on the side rear quarter panel instead of under the bumper.
My mother drove with the windows up when she smoked. Everyone knew about the kid who liked to suck on matches because of the salty taste. Sitting on the porch in the evening in Augusta Arkansas (or anywhere in the south during the summer), it was "normal" to get out the mosquito pump sprayer and just spray it in the air. Remember the "hey kid, take a sip of this new lemonaide" trick one of your friends did to the new kid on the block? Or how about drinking water in the summer from the garden hose? Remember when it was normal to burn our own trash? Or swimming in the community pool only to find out that the person next to you created some "floaties." Or how about the kid who was into science and liked to break open thermometers and play with the ball of Mercury? Isn't a miracle we are all alive? LoL!

Mom and dad both smoked in the car and house. Absolutely everyone except me has smoked. I never have smoked or tried. When the doctor asks, I tell them I smoked from birth until I was 18. 😱
I still will drink from the hose if I'm thirsty enough.😆
We burned our trash and leaves.
I had a chemistry set and 2oz bottle of mercury. I also made crude flashpowder.😁

Mercury poisoning is no joke. Google Minimata Disease and you will see what I mean.

Interesting story... Back in the 1800s they used a lot of felt for hats. And they take the hair from the pelts of small animals and mat it all together and smooth it out with mercuric nitrate. Then they would shape it, and shrink it by boiling it in water and dry them to sell. Anyways, that process would release free mercury. And the workers were in that room doing this all day. And would suffer from erithism (massive behavior changes, neurological disorder from mercury poisioning).

And that's where we get the term "Mad Hatter" from because hatters were going into depression and having mood swings from the mercury.

Anyways, back in elementary school I did a science project with a buddy where we were seeing what household chemicals clean off copper the best. How we managed not to make chlorine gas that day is beyond me. At least we were doing it out on the back screened in patio in fresh air.

I made chlorine gas by accident. It felt like my lungs were on fire couldn't get any air.

Just an update from my earlier post. I spoke to the dealership today and of course you have to take what they say with a grain of salt, but I was told they fully expected the fix from Ford this past Thursday. They didn’t get it but still believe it’s just a matter of days now. Not weeks, I was told. They did say they would work with me if I didn‘t want to wait by letting me choose a different vehicle or even wait until the 2025’s rolled in. Around $3500 more for the same packages if I did the 2025.
Several recent posts shared exactly what they did.

Not read clearly and assumed.
And their current assumption is wrong too.

And I said I used to drive around in the back of a station wagon as a kid and a few ‘people’ came back and bitched about it! Guess it’s ok now hearing about other stupid things people did. Fickle stuff!
