Ford just isn't good at wheels. There are a few designs on the Mustang that I've liked but aside from that I can't remember the last time I saw a set of OEM Ford wheels and though "hey, those look really good".
I do like the turbofans but they're a pretty odd choice for the Maverick, they feel like something you'd get on the Flex or 500.

I'm sure you could find people willing to trade these + cash for the turbofans.
as I mentioned above, yes, I agree and removing the tires makes the shipping cost way lower plus many people won't want the lame factory 225s on a street truck anyway

I have to say I kind of dig the turbo fans, would like to see what they would look like on my xlt 25 BAP.

If I was going to buy a lobo, I would want the turbo fan wheels.

I say keep the turbo fins then buy nice aftermarket wheels to your liking. Sell the turbo fins in a few years for a nice buck.

demand for the turbo fan wheels will definitely be higher when no one has them, so selling now is a better option. plus 4 tires and wheels takes up about 4'x3' space somewhere. 😆

The turbofan wheels will be hard to get, so it wouldn't make sense paying Ford extra money for these.

I was seriously considering trying to pick a set up from someone and then powder coating them white but the specs are pretty mild. 19x7.5 - likely a stock offset of +37.5 - that's kind of tall and narrow for my liking. If they were 18x8-8.5 at about 35-32... id be all over them for a swap. I'm long over running low profile tires on anything but a dedicated track car.

I'm not a fan of them being 19" either, I think 18" is the sweet spot.
I see why ford went with 7.5" width because they need to keep the stock 225 on there.

With all that being said, I do think they look cool as hell and am looking forward to see what people do with them.

yeah, my 255/55-18 have good ride quality, but I bet stepping up to a 255/45-19 it starts to be noticeable.

I agree that the Lariat, BAP and Lobo 19x7.5 is only somewhat useful. officially, all the 265s I've seen state 8" to 9" minimum rim width, but if you really wanted that size for autocross it may not be a big deal, and it'll definitely support the sidewalls of a 245 - 255 a little bit better than a 7" wide rim.

in another thread, I just mentioned that the Lobo isn't yet classed in solo2 so it might fail the height vs width catchall rule. if you run a shorter tire on a Lobo you might squeeze by without having to install lowering springs or coilovers. say 1.5" shorter, or more, so you wouldn't want to daily drive a tire that short.... but you can easily do this with 17s and common tire sizes that fit the Focus ST/RS and other compact cars.

255/40-19 has some options:

265/40-19 brings a lot of possibilities but I'd have to see it mounted to make a call on whether it's a good idea even for only autocross. (7.5" rim vs 9" recommended is pretty questionable.)

I think they look alright but personally I do prefer the turbine wheels. These optional wheels actually remind me of a wheel you could get on the Focus RS.

I bet it's awesome except it's pretty heavy. that said, if someone has rallycross events near them, they should definitely check it out, even if the Maverick is unlikely to win them a national title.

I would never want to compete, but if I came across a flat dirt road or something. It's suppose to be a "street truck" but i'd be damned not to try it out.
