Turn Signal in or on mirror

I been looking for a while and I don’t like the turn signal repeater on the side of the Maverick as it can be at times not as noticeable as on the mirror and in my opinion the products on the market are ugly.

I had my Equinox and it had the LED turn signals on the outboard side of the mirror cap and was probably the easiest and best placement for the turn signals maybe a slip over cap for the mirror and plug in to the system like that on the repeaters in the fender

I like the idea of a mirror cap turn indicator. Short of that, I think I like something fairly subtle. Mounted in the side badge here's one example there are a couple out there.

There is one that's more like a capsule shape with three small LEDs at mounts in the top recess of the badge.

After seeing some creative mods to the existing side badges e.g. adding 3D printed lenses and LED button lights I expect to see the aftermarket suppliers to come up with something that looks more stock than what they initially offered that’s what I’m hope for anyways

You can get the South American covers from a Bronco Sport/Maverick, it has the notch for the turn signal. However I cannot locate the part number for the turn signal portion itself.

Edit: The part numbers are M1PZ13B374A and M1PZ13B375A for the left and right respectively. However they aren't so easily found on parts sites from a quick search. It looks like both the Brazil Maverick and Bronco Sport get power folding mirrors with turn signals, I had originally stated only the Bronco Sport did for that market. Definitely a shame it's not offered here

Does anyone have the wiring diagram for the mirror lights? Maybe we can just add a pin or two to the door harness and activate with Forscan. Add use a stick on turn signal.

I wouldn't expect anyone to make an aftermarket version since the fender "vent" is such an easier option. The vent is unpainted, simpler, and easier to route wires to. Even if all the mirror parts were available in the US, I think the total cost would be higher than most (not all) people would want to pay.

You never know. It's possible that the wires are there inside the mirror already. No way of knowing unless you take things apart a little to see how many wires are there provided in the harness. Might be there, might not. I had a Toyota Tundra and wanted trailering mirrors that would extend when needed. I found a set that were priced right an bought them. They had turn lights in them though the originals weren't equipped. I took off the old mirror, installed the new and plugged it in and I had functioning turn indicators in the mirrors. Yeah, I know that was a Toyota and not a Ford but my point is that it wouldn't hurt to check the wiring. If Mavericks have them other places in the world the functionality might, possibly be there already in the harness.

Seeing the Maverick doesn't come in any trim with a blinker installed on the mirror nor puddle lights. I highly doubt there's wiring there, You're going to have to run it somewhere from the passenger fuse panel or the interior engine department to each mirror through the door.

Those are the new FENIEX QSM FLAT. They have 5 colors and 3 modes. I have my modes as solid amber for turn as mode 1/ mode 2 is solid blue and mode 3 is strobe green/amber. I ran some 18-6 wire thru the mirror and down thru the door and out the grommet to the front fender where I have it spliced in whith my other strobes.you can gently pry the cover off the mirror, you will break a couple of the tabs. No big deal as it snaps back fine. Had to un bolt the mirror to get the wire to pass thru the pivot point.
