I was on Ford Parts web site https://parts.ford.com/ and entered the VIN of my Maverick. Next screen (on the left hand side) had the exact day my truck was made. Just thought I'd throw it out there in case anyone was curious when their Maverick (or any other Ford) was born and didn't want to mess with VIN decoders or anything like that.

Just tried it and the date agreed with the one I got from the Ford order tracking site. I had to get the dealer order number from the Ford help chat to get to that information, so your way was much easier.

I just put in my zip code and picked a local dealer - not the one I bought from.

It is also saved to the permanent? memory of your dashboard computer.

You enter "engineering test mode" by holding down OK before you turn the key or press start. Then you can toggle through about 50 pieces of information, including build date.

Hmm, my window sticker has 1/10/23,
ET engineering screen has 1/13/23,
ford.com/parts has 1/18/23.
Driver door sticker 1/23
When I was using the Ford tracker when it was scheduled it said built 2/13/23
?

For my "in production" 2025 XLT AWD hybrid, it says "VIN not found" so apparently no help for those of us waiting for Job 1...

I think it is on the inside of the driver door.

Pretty sure the info found in the ET mode is mainly about the IPC module, IIRC after looking up the part numbers and other info it matched that.

Pretty sure window sticker is dated when the build begins, or maybe that week's batch.

Here's the module info to compare to some of what shows up in ET mode info.
IPC - Instrument Panel Control Module
Bus: HSCAN3
Part number: NZ6T-10849-CH
Calibration level: NZ6T-10849-CH
Strategy : NZ6T-14C026-CAG
Calibration: NZ6T-14C088-CAD

Not always. Mine does not report the correct date. Not even close, actually.

Excellent tip. Not only did I get the build date for my '24 Maverick, I also got the build date of my '20 Escape Titanium.
