All of the side curtain airbags deployed.

That'll probably be a right off with most major insurers. I've had a few say that they don't want anything to do with repairing cars that've fired airbags.

I t boned a chic, she was at fault, I not only got my car fixed up nicely, I got another 30k for just having ambulance come get me. Her car was absolutely ripped in half

it was 15k after lawyer fees, and I negotiated settlement with hospital. but they offered me 1500 before I went to my work. (I work at lawyers office) as maintenance lol. I was like, what's your offer? they said we can do a max of 1500. I was like oh ya? they said oh yeah, thats a great deal, and we can throw in some deep tissue massages.

went to my lawyer guy, 2 weeks later, they offered 25k I said I want 30, the paid out same day. he said I could of got more, but I said nah, im not pressed. I bought brand new motorcycle next day.!


its awful how insurance companies treat people in accidents, max is 1500? then offer 25k to a lawyer next day? fuk off.


it doesn't matter though, you can still sue your own insurance I believe. I keep uninsured, underinsured additional on my policy



but I hope OP gets paid for real, screw the other person. whether he's hurt or not, he deserves to get paid out a full new maverick+vacation pay for his loss.

why though? lets say it triggers airbag, and the damage is 5k + whatever airbag cost, its stilll totaled? I ask because ive seen this. are AIRBAGS THAT EXPENISVE?

eh, it's the bags themselves and the location - there's a good amount of labor to remove and replace the dashboard if that one went off - I know someone with a 3 day old jeep that got t-boned - $11K in damage, a few thousand of that due to 3 airbags going off, ins co fixed it (Jeep was $38K)

Oh man, just looking at the photos is hard to take in with the truck being brand new. I notice in the post photo the Eye Care store in the background. Maybe the lady was on her way to pick up her glasses there to help with her vision...so close.
