Find it interesting since they manual indicates it should work but it definitely doesn’t on my 2025 Maverick lariat and verified remote settings are set appropriately

Same issue, head scratcher..

However the phone app settings working now.
-Update the app if you don't see the climate controls. Press this and the temp, seat & wheel settings will show up.
This was not there a few days ago.
There was an update to the app a day or so ago to 5.11.0
This added invite driver.

Key fob start working
Seats and wheel on.

*scheduled start still indicates start on last settings.

One other thing I noticed:
Phone app will show Software Updates "Not On" unless you select any option in the "Recurring schedule"

2024 Lariat Hybrid here and when I start the truck via the app, I don't even get the options to adjust the settings. I've updated the app, force closed it, all that. I can start it and extend it but not change the options so the seats are never on when I get in - even though I left them on from the prior drive. Any way to get the options to pop up once the truck is started?

Anyone else with a 2025 Lariat have the Seat heating and steering wheel heating set to auto for remote start yet it doesn't seem to run. In my 22 auto basically meant if I remote started and it was like 40s and below it ran the seat and steering wheel. On the 25 I have yet to have it start the seats and steering wheel even down to 10 degrees outside with it set to auto. Is anyone else having this issue or found any solution?
I set my remote start to include seats and steering wheel in the my ford pass app, the fob remote start aligned itself with whatever I have set in the app

It's this just occurring on the 2025 models? I asked because I have a 2024 EcoBoost XLT and when I remote started with the app or the fob the defrost comes on, the seats go on and so does the steering wheel add I have it set to auto. When I put the key in and turn it then the seat stays on, the steering wheel stays on but instead of the defrost it goes to the vents, you know the chest and feet, because that was how I had it set when I turned the key off. Which seems weird also.

Edit: now I wonder if maybe the one time that I got in and the settings were the last settings that I had used I may not have remote started it that time. I might have just turned the key and that's why it was the last settings.

You caught the posts that said the extra setting for Seat/Wheel must be set to Auto, otherwise they are Off?

If they are set to Off - doesn't matter if you have climate control set to Auto or Last used.

SWITCHING THE HEATED STEERING WHEEL ON AND OFF (IF EQUIPPED)

WARNING: Use caution when using the heated steering wheel if you are unable to feel pain to your skin because of advanced age, chronic illness, diabetes, spinal cord injury, medication, exhaustion or other physical conditions. Failure to follow this instruction could result in personal injury, especially if the heated steering wheel is used for long periods of time.

To activate the heated steering wheel, press the button on the climate control unit. An indicator on the button illuminates when the heated steering wheel is on.
Note: The engine must be running to use this feature.
Note: A sensor regulates the temperature of the steering wheel.
Note: The heated steering wheel may remain on after remote starting your vehicle, depending on the remote start settings. It may also turn on when you start your vehicle if it was on the last time the engine was switched off.
Note: In warm temperatures, the steering wheel quickly reaches its maximum temperature and the system reduces the current to the heating element. This could cause you to think that the system has stopped working but it has not. This is normal.

Press the heated seat symbol to cycle through the various heat settings and off. The more indicators that display, the warmer the temperature of the seat.
Note: The heated seats may remain on after you remote start your vehicle, based on your remote start settings. The heated seats may also turn on when you start your vehicle if they were on when you switched your vehicle off.

I have not had a problem at all with my 25 maverick and the auto start features

Hmm I'm on Android when you start it via the app a climate section doesn't appear in the iOS version similar to this.

Appreciate the response! I do believe both were set to Auto in the truck settings, but I'll confirm that when I leave work today. However, the option to control these settings still isn't viewable in the app for some reason.

I do not have those options on my app either. But I have a 2024 XLT and it does not have the sync three or four radio whichever it is. I wonder if that has something to do with not seeing the climate options on the app.

Since the truck side must also cooperate - might get the truck hooked up to strong wifi at home, and confirm no updates to the infotainment center - just in case that is involved.
And Lariat does seem to get some updates, compared to XL/XLT. (though I haven't looked in awhile)

I too have a 25 Lariat having the same issue with the heated seats and wheel not turning on with the app or remote. I checked and all the settings in the remote start menu and they’re correctly set. Has anyone else with this issue reached out to their dealer and come up with a solution?

Can others confirm that they aren't actually on? I ask because I normally leave the HSW on and heated seat on at level 1 so it's by default on every start up for me (last known setting). However if I remote start, the vehicle behaves predictably and the setting is on 3 when I press start. Recently with passengers, one had stated that they enjoyed the seat being warm before we left which was odd because I didn't do anything but engage remote start prior to departure and the icon showed it was off. I tried this later that day and indeed both seats came on during remote start like expected however after pressing the start button so I could drive, the icon for the passenger did not illuminate and the heating stopped.

Definitely not turned on in mine. Seats and wheel are cold and indicator lights not on. If I turn them on manually they’re fine
