TK's 2025 Eruption Green Lariat Ecoboost (upgraded from 2022 XLT)

It's been just over two years with my 2022 and it's been great. No issues and it was a great truck. When the refresh was announced I knew I wanted to upgrade from the XLT to a Lariat. The icing on the cake was the Eruption Green paint. I have wanted this color since I saw it on a Bronco. I placed my order on August 1, 2024 and the wait was on.

I checked the tracker often and on January 18th I took delivery. I plan on using this thread to keep track of mods, maintenance and anything else I do with the truck.

I instructed the dealer not to wash the truck or remove any of the stickers from the factory. I also told them not to install the front plate bracket. The truck is getting ceramic coated next week.

Yes. I think everyone should get the 4K tow even if you don’t plan on using it. The upgrades are worth it.

My Maverick is the same as yours except for 1 feature. My order is a job #2 order (scheduled for week of 2/10) so I will have the pro trailer assist package.

Please add more pictures! Also could you make a comparison between your 22 and 25 Maverick?

Is that your old hot pepper red Maverick in the photo? Curious which color you like more, as I have an HPR and might trade this fall. I'm not a green paint guy, but I keep hearing people say they love that color in person.

your truck is lovely - i am in a similar situation - my wife has the Area 51 XLT and we love it - so i put in for a Lariat Mav in Eruption green!

Pricing for ceramic coat is all over the place. The place i'm getting it done is also vinyl wrapping my bed cap black so it's easier to do it all in one shot. They quoted me 1200 for a 5 year warrantied coat. I think the price is definitely high.

Picked up some new tires tonight. 245/65R17 Falken Wildpeak AT Trails. I mounted them on my LP Aventure LP1 wheels. 17x7.5 +35

I’m getting them road force balanced tomorrow and putting them on the truck. Super excited to see how they look.

It’s a good all around tire for me. I had them on my previous Maverick and they were great. No matter the weather, dry, wet or snowy they’ve been great.

I like the aggressive side wall as well. It comes in handy when I rub up against a curb haha. They’re also quiet on the road.

Beautiful truck! Please post pics after the ceramic coating as I'm sure that green will really shine!

I changed the stock tires on my '22 Fx4 to Discoverer Road + trail and I get compliments all the time about how nice the more aggressive tires look.
