My Mavericks replacement has been ordered. 2025 Eruption Green Lariat Ecoboost with 4K tow. My 2022 has been great but I really want all the features of the Lariat.

Very cool truck. Eruption green looks great. I have a 22 xl ecoboost with 25k miles and many mods. I ordered a 24 xl hybrid because i wanted the mpg, it is built and being shipped. Not sure i won't to give up my turbo for mpg.

Hey there! I presume no issues with the PTU, rear diff, or transmission since the fluid changes? I'm rolling up on 25,000 miles soon and am interested in at least doing the PTU and rear diff fluid.

No issues at all. I'm about to do an oil change and tire rotation tomorrow. I'll check for any leaks but it has been fine and driving great.

I did an oil change and tire rotate this past Friday. Took a look at everything under the truck while it was on the lift and saw some small surface rust spots starting. I wanted to put some rust prevention on this truck but never got around to it. On my 2025 I will most definitely be adding something.

Here's a new update from Ford on my 2025 Maverick. The window sticker has been released too. It's almost here! A lot quicker than my 2022.

I did an oil change on 12/17/24. Might be my last oil change owning this truck. About 4500 miles on this oil.

I took a trip to Tennessee for the Christmas holiday. From NJ to TN and back. It was a good trip. The drive down and back was smooth and there were no issues.

On the way back to NJ I stopped at Tail of the Dragon. I haven't been in years. I used to take my fun cars down there, WRX and Honda Fit. They repaved the road earlier this year and it's great. Super fun road and the Mav did well. With some sticky tires, better brake fluid and a little lower it would be a ripper.

Ford is showing my 2025 as shipped. I called CSX to see where the railcar is and it looks like it hasn't left yet.

I called a local dealer and they had a 2025 Tremor in stock. I think it arrived yesterday. I went by and looked at it and the sales man said I can test drive it....

The Tremor is great. Drives smooth and sounds amazing. I don't know what a previous gen Tremor sounds like inside but this one has some awesome engine noise in the cabin. It does not sound like a 4 cylinder and my 2022 does not sound the same either. The new screen is super nice! The HVAC controls are going to get some taking used to. The 360 camera is cool. Overall the 2025 is really nice! The color is super nice too. My Lariat should be here at the end of the month so I cannot wait!

Seeing the Tremor makes me want one. I am hoping I will like my Lariat as much as the Tremor. I really like having the 4K tow. If I didn't need that I could see myself in a Tremor.

This weekend I helped my friend transport an engine I sold him. I had to remove the cap so the engine hoist could get the engine out. It works out because I plan on trading the truck in by the end of the month. Since I resealed the cap I haven't taken it off and boy was it stuck on there. I guess when you use the correct seal it works really well! I had no leaks and I can see why.

For those wondering the engine I sold is a Subaru JDM V9 EJ207. It was in my 2005 WRX. Great engine and glad to see it live on in another Subaru.

Saturday was the day. I said farewell to my 2022 HPR XLT and took delivery of my 2025 EG Lariat. My 22 had 44,8xx miles on it and they gave me 20,500 for trade it. I was happy with that so I went forward with the deal.

My first impression of the 25 are meh. The new features are cool compared to my XLT but I miss the touch controls for the HVAC. It's super quite inside compared to my XLT which is nice. I also miss the 22 gauge cluster. The 25 is lacking the tach and I didn't think I would miss that but I really do. Definitely having some buyers remorse. Hopefully when I add my accessories and little things it'll grow on me more. If not I'll be looking for a 24 haha.

I don't have many pictures yet as it's still dirty. I'll get some this week for sure.
