Thanks, I appreciate the report, I think I'll get em
Definitely check out the Firestone Destination AT2

I did a LOT of research into the topic, and while the Falken AT Trail (And almost all AT Trail tires) look quite nice, they are MUCH worse than MOST options in any "Mild" AT tire that is not a "trail" type.

Just my 0.02... If you plan on being on gravel or off the road, AT Trail tires are not for you.

They are an incredibly niche product. Where I am at, they are less than a $5 price difference per tire.

Quick picture from tonight. Got the Autel 433MHz sensors installed. Super nice sensor. It’s a push connector so you don’t have to screw the sensor to the valve stem. Much easier than the factory sensors. I’ll have my buddy program them to the car sometime this week.

The larger tires handle bumps much better than the 19’s and they feel great. Smooth ride and no vibrations anywhere. Very happy.

Pricing for ceramic coat is all over the place. The place i'm getting it done is also vinyl wrapping my bed cap black so it's easier to do it all in one shot. They quoted me 1200 for a 5 year warrantied coat. I think the price is definitely high.
Not high that’s on par. My guy here in NJ did it for the same, and that was return customer price from my 2022 he did. But if done right it’s so worth it. First vehicle I had it done too, and I will definitely continue on any purchase. My 22’ looked show room 2 + years later. Enjoy the ride, after all this snow melts and I get a wash I will post pics from coating.

Even if the tariff went into effect today, your Maverick will not be affected. You are price protected! :)
Do you have confirmation of that from any official channels from Ford or the US Government? I tend to not trust anything a politician (from either side of the aisle) says verbally - I need to see it in writing to believe it. I've seen this "price protected" statement many times, and I highly doubt my '25 Lariat that I ordered at the beginning of August (and currently scheduled for 2/10/25 build week) will be "price protected" against that +$100 across-the-board price increase, or the +$300 for job 2 builds with the trailer assist stuff, even though I ordered well before the job 2 order banks were opened. Likewise, I have little faith that my order will be "price protected" against any future tariffs either. If I end up only needing to pay what my original DORA states despite the more than 6+ month difference between order and delivery, I'll be shocked.

This information came from my dealer, Granger Ford.

It's been just over two years with my 2022 and it's been great. No issues and it was a great truck. When the refresh was announced I knew I wanted to upgrade from the XLT to a Lariat. The icing on the cake was the Eruption Green paint. I have wanted this color since I saw it on a Bronco. I placed my order on August 1, 2024 and the wait was on.

I checked the tracker often and on January 18th I took delivery. I plan on using this thread to keep track of mods, maintenance and anything else I do with the truck.

I instructed the dealer not to wash the truck or remove any of the stickers from the factory. I also told them not to install the front plate bracket. The truck is getting ceramic coated next week.

It’s beautiful just curious what the ceramic coating cost if you don‘t mind sharing?

Price protection, for whatever reason, would be up to the dealer. The info should be in your sales contract. The government isn't promising anything. The tarrif thing with Trump is just one of many tools he will use to negotiate any number of economic/migration issues with Mexico and Canada. He hasn't signed any executive orders regarding tarrifs and I doubt if he will any time soon, if ever.

Are you going to use an aftermarket bracket? If so which? I am worried about the lariat sensors.
I’m not installing anything. No front plate for me haha.

Went on a drive with some Subarus today. The truck feels great and can easily keep up with WRXs. Sport mode is very fun and the throttle response is great. The shift points are spot on and it make the truck very sporty.

My buddy helped me put my bed cap on today. It’s only temporary as they need to remove it to vinyl wrap it black. There’s no seal so we used moving blankets so nothing gets scratched.

The Mav kind of looks like a watermelon haha.

Try it in Tow/Haul and let us know if that is still the better option than Sport for being "sporty"

clearly you've been driving it; did the truck automatically learn the new sensors the past few days or not?

if you're not sure you should be able to quickly see it in Fordpass if they have pressure readings.

The truck did not learn the new sensors on it's own. My friend has the Autel tool to program the sensors. We cloned the factory sensors so if I swap back to the stocks I don't need to program anything.

Bought my extended warranty from Granger today. I went with the 5 year 100K miles Premium care warranty. I do roughly 15k miles a year so I figured that was a good choice. I hope I never have to use it!

Update. Granger called me to let me know Ford would not accept my warranty from them because I had rental care from the dealership I bought the truck from. I need to contact the dealership and get that removed before they will accept the warranty.
