Auto heat for seat and steering wheel.

I have auto on for seat and steering wheel heating. When I go to remote start, steering wheel preheats, seat does not. I understand they should both be on, but obviously not. Is there a fix? It's cold here in Georgia!

its in your settings on vehicle or something, I saw a post, it may not be on "auto" by default.

Thanks, but I did check that when I got in the Mav after remote start. Auto seat and steering were on, but seat not heated.

I believe the heated steering wheel comes on with the heated mirrors if temp is low enough. The seat heater will come on with the auto settings if and only if the seats were turned on when the truck was turned off with the auto setting turned on.

thats confusing though, why wouldn't it be on if the settings say on?

Auto automatically returns to the settings that were "ON" when the truck was turned off. If temp set to 73°F that's what auto is set to. Etc ...

Remote start via the app.

Once your vehicle starts below the slider will be climate settings where you can toggle on heated wheel and seats.

My seats only go to the 2nd heating level though.

I'm sorry...............it wasn't always there that I recall, didn't even notice it until this morning. I have the hvac set to "last settings" in the truck for the remote start, but it hadn't been turning on the wheel and seats, I just noticed the climate settings on the app this morning.

I have the same settings and when I remote start obviously the steering wheel comes on and my seat does come on but it's not super hot. It's just not cold, if that makes sense. And then when I sit down and turn the key to the on position then it really heats up. The weird thing is is my app doesn't show the climate settings like other people are showing in this post. Unless I just never noticed it.
