7.5 where I live in OhioNo longer 6.6 its now 7% in Georgia
I DID!!Maybe YOU did.
If this comment was tongue in cheek, well done. If not, I’d research Elon’s contribution to the environment in Texas. The biggest reason he moved his operations there was because he wants to operate unshackled, and Texas will gladly accommodate that. California wouldn’t. As a Texan, the threats to our health and environment are constant. Whether petrochemicals, fracking, or rocket launches, there’s a reason Texas constantly lands in the bottom 10% for quality of life. The point is to get people to buy 'Made in America'.
I would call It a victory if the Tariff forced
Ford to move all manufacturing back inside the 48 states
and employ American workers.
All Ford would have to do Is factor in a greater cost of labor.
I doubt that would raise the price more than 10 to 12%
BUT My Ford's would be American Made and I'd gladly pay more for that !
Now If we could get Ford to make Its own parts, Like Elon did with Tesla.
He made so much money that he is now paving the way to build Star Ships at a rate of 100 per month.
His Cyber truck plant Is In Texas. Not Mexico.
Betcha no body saw that coming.
Oh I think it'll be more than 10 or 12% higher if the trucks are assembled in the US.The point is to get people to buy 'Made in America'.

He moved because the Democrats kept postponing his applications to launch with tens of millions of dollars on the line. Texas won't do that, they understand the importance of BUSINESS. Besides, Texas has WATER!If this comment was tongue in cheek, well done. If not, I’d research Elon’s contribution to the environment in Texas. it needs to pass through customs before the tariff. and unfortunately as someone else pointed out, dealers could start changing markups on trucks that don't have the tariff. My deposit is refundable if the price changes. Which it would with tariffs but I'm also expecting the built email any day now so hopefully I'm making the cut. Been in production for over 10 days
we had several pages of non political posting and now the shit show has arrived. once that circus pulls into town the thread is over.I just want to comment before the thread is locked.![]()

it is one of the best factories Ford operates.I know alot Mexican people they are my friends I'm proud to own my maverick built by my Mexican brothers and sisters
did you read any articles from media, or this thread? As someone who is politically moderate, if there even is such a thing anymore, I don't disagree with the spirit of returning manufacturing to the US, but it's a more complex issue than enacting tariffs to protect industry.
