But they keep EXPLODING!The point is to get people to buy 'Made in America'.
I would call It a victory if the Tariff forced
Ford to move all manufacturing back inside the 48 states
and employ American workers.
All Ford would have to do Is factor in a greater cost of labor.
I doubt that would raise the price more than 10 to 12%
BUT My Ford's would be American Made and I'd gladly pay more for that !
Now If we could get Ford to make Its own parts, Like Elon did with Tesla.
He made so much money that he is now paving the way to build Star Ships at a rate of 100 per month.
His Cyber truck plant Is In Texas. Not Mexico.
Betcha no body saw that coming.
No.A lot of opinions above.
Opinions are like cowboy hats.
correct, and this is not a political spin. this is literally what the president and his reps are saying, Mexico and Canada tariffs seek border control and drug enforcement.Tariffs for Trump not trying to bring business back to America it’s a border control strong arm.
Glad I got mine last year before this unnecessary ridiculousness started.Yea ! Mavericks will have 25 % tariff as of 02/25 . Fortunately I have mine . click , click , click or ignore .
they would absolutely use markups if they were able to because the pre tariff trucks (24 and 25) are a finite quantity.they'll probably markup those existing ones and disguise it as an "adjusted import tax."
check your state laws. some states require the deposit to be refundable. mine does (which is probably why my dealer doesn't require them).same, I just have to argue my 500 dollar non refundable deposit back if it happened, which I dont believe will since granger has told me several times, price protected. they dont see any issues. I think it'll be people who buy after tariffs go into effect
its possible the government itself would honor orders from before tariffs? like ford/gov agreement to not screw over customers- just wishful thinking.
I was gambling in options, I struck big few times so I took everything I had and went all in, total loss 25k goneThe math doesn’t seem to to add up to smiles like 10x on that investment. But think of how much interest you saved. Saved is as good or better then gained.
I paid off my first house in 6 years with zero investments and it was a great feeling. Sold it 10 years later for double what I bought it for and it sold instantly. Can’t wait to pay off my new one.
Congratulations.
Ohio does as well, but since I paid to a state ie. Grangercheck your state laws. some states require the deposit to be refundable. mine does (which is probably why my dealer doesn't require them).
