It is understandable. I've been using and working on computers since my dad brought home an x486 Packard Bell running Windows 3.1. A few years ago I found a feature I didn't know has existed for decades and I use it daily now.

Sometimes we just miss things.

All good. I'd rather give a veteran member some friendly hazing than be rude to a newbie asking the same question, honestly... Even if there is a search function that they could literally type in "WHAT IS THIS" and probably get a successful hit on the pigtail.

Speaking of... we've forgotten a good one! :D

Have no idea what this is, or how important it is lol.

Oh crap, that was supposed to be plugged in on the assembly line before the area got covered up.
I guess they forgot. At least they threw it in just in case you needed it.

Don't forget that weird SheWee funnel/cone thingy. Why Ford would include one of those is anybody's guess.

EDIT: Oh, I see someone already beat me to it...

Do tell...
Windows only but middle mouse click. If you click on the scroll wheel on an open app icon, it will open a new instance. So, if you have a word document open, you just go down to the app icon on the taskbar and do a scroll wheel click to open a new blank document. After years of "right-click; new" finding out about this shortcut blew my mind and I now use it daily.

Yep. With you.

I installed Windows 3.1 and NT quite a bit at work back when they were new. Have used Windows at jobs ever since.

It was definitely only in the last decade I found the center click. :bandit:

They're selling for $25 on evil bay if you need gas money...oh wait, you have a hybrid, so never mind.
LOL
But shouldn't this be under, "I got this new truck (I think it's a Hybrid - not sure, sales guy didn't know either). The gas gauge doesn't move...

You just opened a whole can of worms because there's also no badging that says it's a hybrid or even AWD...oh the humanity!

The last computer I had was my laptop, it had Windows Vista. I now only use a cell phone.

Hot damn! I learned something new today and I use to be a beta tester back in the day for MS for Office, Windows, and IE.. It suck when they went public 'beta' testing. I had to start paying for my OS/Office suites at the point.

This forum is undefeated.

Now, I think I will go accidentally lock my drivers side door.
All forums are the same, doesn't matter if you're on the F-150 forum, the Explorer forum, Chevy Equinox forum, you got to realize People are posting!

It does get funny after a while, kind of, heavy on the kind of...

Ha! I lost a parking slip in mine (lost the original ticket, not the validation slip). Couldn't dig it out, so I went to the gate to get out... There's an option to say 'lost ticket'. When I chose it, it let me out for free. But yeah, mind how long your parking slips are before you use that dang thing. 🤪
