I also started getting the Sleep Mode alert about five months after receiving my 2023 Maverick Hybrid. This is a major issue that is frustrating, especially when I left my keys in the truck and couldn't unlock the door with the FordPass app. I found that the BMS (battery monitor system) reset fixes it....temporarily. It's easy to do and I do it when I park the truck at the end of the day. Someone posted a video on here on how to reset. The video is a little different than the instructions. But what you do is:

1. Turn the key to the ON position
2. Pull the High Beam lever 5 times
3. Step on the brake pedal 3 times
4. Turn the key to OFF
5. Turn the key back to ON
6. Look for the RED Battery Icon to flash 4 times. (three plus a short 4th)

You should be good to go.
The battery light doesn’t flash. Plan B?

I usually get the battery notice a day or two after I drive the Lariat. I installed the Kia mirror mod several weeks ago. I've only been driving my truck maybe once a week this winter. I wonder if the always on Kia mirror is contributing to the battery problem. Today I turned it off. I'll leave it off for awhile to see if it makes a difference.

I have to reset the BMS about every week. If I try to turn the truck on with my phone and it doesn't work, the next time I drive I simply do the hokey-pokey BMS reset maneuver before I exit. I'm then OK for a while. I know no other way to be able to use the remote features without doing the reset. Maybe you are not following the reset to the T?

Push the button without your foot on the brake, that is the ACC on position.

"Battery Sensor Reset
When you install a new battery, reset the battery sensor by doing the following:
Switch the ignition on, and leave the engine off.
Note: Complete Steps 2 and 3 within 10 seconds.
Flash the high beam headlamps five times, ending with the high beams off.
Press and release the brake pedal three times.
The battery warning lamp flashes three times to confirm that the reset is successful."

I suppose you could just push the start button without putting your foot on the brake to turn the truck on without starting it.

If it's a hybrid is doesn't have a "start". No starter. You turn it on, which in your case, I assume you push the button. Ford recalled my hybrid for two different electrical issues, the last being the panel instrument light. Since then, I've never had to go through the battery management reset procedure. I hope it stays that way.

I had that issue with deep sleep after I had my dash camera installed. I used to leave parking mode on so I turned that off, but it didn't help. So after reading another thread on here about how the battery charges more in low gear when driving I used that for about a week while I drove around and haven't had anymore issues. I also leave my dash camera off parking mode just in case. No deep sleep mode warming for 8 months or so.
Do you still running your truck in low gear?
Are you getting any more deep sleep since the 8 mths.?
What device (s) do you lose control of when in deep sleep?
Will the door combination buttons work when in deep sleep?
What had to be done in order to get truck out of deep sleep, if anything?

I wonder how many people are having this issue. I just had my truck in the dealer for several days and I ended up having them put in a new battery. I don’t have it back to say if it worked yet. Mine is a ‘22 xlt. Had it over two winters and no problems like this. This is a public safety issue. If you can’t see what’s in your car before you enter that’s not good. I wonder how many people are just having to accept this because dealers can’t fix it. The dealer reps have no leverage to make Ford do anything about it. I imagine the only way to get Ford to fix it is by a class action lawsuit. I am about to sell my vehicle and have lost a fair amount of money in dealing with this. Insurance, etc. if ford was smart they would be using AI to mine these forums but doubt they are that with it based on my experiences. My truck also sat at the dealer for about 5 weeks waiting for $90 worth of parts I could find online from a 5 second google search. Their priorities are not correct.

Sounds like you have a terrible dealer. Many hybrid owners have purchased an AGM battery for this issue. Also Ford has promised a software fix by the end of March this year. Good luck.

Go to the bottom of this screen and you'll find Similar threads of exactly this issue with many people commenting.

You made it pretty good then - not as bad a battery as many seem to have gotten.
But not as good as many remember from prior vehicles that lasted for 5 + years.

Oh, it's not considered public safety if you can't drive it. Your personal safety with the lights, sure.
Now the EB (or maybe it was other Ford truck) had an issue of misreading SOC and would not kill the auto-start/stop when it should have - that was public safety being in road without a means to start because battery was dead enough. That got a recall notice.

Temporarily is the key word here. It's insane to think that FORD has been dealing with this issue for over 5 years now and they still refuse to solve it.
The problem is...Ford isn't "DEALING" with this problem, the customer is...
Ford is IGNORING it...They just tell everyone that they need to drive the truck more...
I didn't buy a truck to be forced to drive it more than I need to, just to get the features to work.
It doesn't seem to matter if it's driven or not, though...it never works.
They did swap out the battery with a new one ( after 3 svc calls )...the remote start we worked ONE time, then back to battery saver mode.
How is it that my remotes all work on my 10 year & older vehicles that sometimes sit for months without being moved , but the NEW 24 that has all the supposed advanced technology NEVER works ???....
They said there's software fix coming up, but I've heard that since last year....What pisses me off is that when I was ordering the truck, I wasnt given the option for the key fob type remote...( which I only found out about at the service dept. AND that it's a WAY more expensive option to add now, than if it was installed while the truck was being built )
I was only told about the Ford Pass phone remote, which is like not having a remote start at all....
