Tailgate LED light bar for lariat with bliss

i am wanting to add a led bar to add more break lights so some dumbass doesn't rearend me and they total my truck.

looking on ebay and i see a bunch that are 60 inch and i measures my tailgate and nor even close. Not sure how they advertise it for a maverick

what size has people used ? types ? brands? and is there away to NOT attach to the trailer as this turns off bliss

I've probably read every thread on this subject, and IMO, the only way to foolproof an install is with using a powered trailer light harness, like the Curt # 56477. However, even that isn't a 100% solution, since the Curt harness will not provide a reverse light signal, if you select a light bar that has that feature. Adding a reverse light wire would be easy enough, if you are comfortable with that kind of work.

I went the cheap route and got the same effect (3rd Brake Light pulses 4 times) simply by putting in this LED bulb.

This plugs right into the trailer plug and does not make the guidelines in the rearview cam disappear. I had to mount below my bumper on a 1 1/2" alum.angle bar . For it will not fit properly under tailgate

Did not have 360, but 1st. Bar made my guidelines on camera disappear, so this got them to come back. Yeah

Everything, including the reverse light, worked as it should without any effect on the towing system or driver aids.

I added the OPT7 harness to my 24 Lariat last month, even though it says without BLIS, my BLIS and CoPilot 360 options work as intended. It was very easy plug and play, the hardest part was removing the cover part on the bottom of the rear passenger side to run that sides harness up to the tail lights and that wasn't really hard just a PIA.

I have this current lightbar installed and works great.
