F-150 Shifter Installed in Maverick!

The 21-23 F-150 shifter works on our trucks. It requires some trimming of the console but the plug is the same and it drives like normal. Haven’t hooked up the paddle shifters but I assume the shifter buttons will work once wired. This is temporary until I make a better mount but it fits and works. I’m going to make a panel for the brake and drive modes in front of the center console.

Excellent! Well done.
But now you've done it: There's gonna be a run on F-150 shifter assemblies.
Lots of folks would rather have that than the rotary shifter knob thingy.

Wow I do want this but also worried about screwing the truck up, especially moving the other nearby controls.

I Freaking love how customizable the mav has becoming, is like we finally can have the truck the way we want. I don't know maybe the 60's are back ?

I love the rotary shifter and cannot understand the hate. It takes up less room and allows for faster shifting. I have never shifted by mistake. Imo it's a total improvement.

With that said I do admire your work installing the f150 shifter. Variety is the spice of life

Notice how crappy the F-150 plastic still is!

I drove my wife's 2015 Honda CRV the other day and when I was backing into the driveway I went to twist the shifter, lol

I just had to laugh!

What’s next?

I had a 61 ford falcon with a Toyota celica drive train and Corolla front spindles. We called it the celicon. I love the Frankenstein-truck. Keep these coming!
But, I know everyone is thinking it, but no one is saying it… your warranty
