One more down . . .can't see them calling this repairable!'
I'm less than clear on what happened--I was pulling into a left turn lane to go onto a side street, and suddenly I was spinning a bit, saw smoke & steam, and realized I hurt. I'm missing a couple (few?) seconds.
Clearly, I went the rest of the lane and made the turn. The officer said (I went back once released) that he was able to construct it from the trail of rubber marks and fluid! I spun something more than 180 degrees!
They sent me to trauma because I initially answered I was going 35, as that's what I set the ACC to on that street. I eventually realized that I couldn't have been, as I'd just puled onto that street a hundred or two feet back, and was turning, but once a number over 25 is spoken, it's trauma.
I'll be fine, but will probably really start hurting tomorrow. Just some abdominal bruising and seatbelt abrasions, it seems.
Anyway, as I looked around, still dazed I saw airbags all over the place!
My wife wants another of the same thing, but pickings don't look good locally!
