Made 3 passes Maverick is bone stock on 93 octane fuel!! Top Slip 1st pass Middle Slip 2nd pass Bottom slip last pass!! I was entry 61, I circled them on the time slips!!

I was happy with the passes all being 14 second passes and was really happy with the [email protected] mph pass and they're the only runs I've ever made in the Maverick so far!! The Magazine tests that I've seen are 14.5-15.1 in the 1/4 mile so I was really close to the 14.5!! The Motor Trend 2026 TOTY Maverick Lobo ran a [email protected] mph!! And I was the Winner 2 out of 3 passes!!

Thank you for your post. I've felt that the MPC 2.0 eb was often shortchanged in the press' 1/4 mile test numbers. Your real world undoctored times confirms what my butt tells me. If I had a drag strip in my area, I'd have done several runs myself.
Question...does your truck have the GPF in the exhaust? You've probably commented on that in another thread and I apologize for not searching myself.

These little trucks move! My ‘89 Mustang GT 5.0, basically stock except for Flowmaster mufflers, only did 14.7 in the quarter mile at LA County Raceway back in the day. I thought that was a fast car, lol. It’s crazy that these little 2.0s are just as quick.

Modern turbocharging is so far advanced from the early days. Keep in mind the EB in the Maverick is detuned so that the transmission will live past the warranty period, the EB has more power in it even without a turbo swap.

Not that I would recommend tuning an EB Mav without upgrading stuff like cooling systems and whatnot.

I tried my stock Lariat on a back road in "mexico" with a friend's Dragy. I want to take it to the drag strip when the weather is much cooler lol. I had it in Sport Mode and just hit the gas with the Auto Hold engaged. It was actually quicker that way vs building a little RPM on the foot brake.

Even my 04 GT's best was 14.2s stock.

Yeah mine had the crappy 2.73:1 rear gears. Bit slow off the line.
