Was most surprised Ford Dealer offered $23,200 for my 2022 Mav Hybrid XLT /sunroof with 26,501 miles on the odometer, only paid $24,760.
I am jealous. I have a 32,000 mile 2022 XLT AWD HPR LUX CP360 SIBL with brand new Michelin tires. I was only offered $22,000 (I paid $30,500). I walked on that offer without a second thought. I think the major difference is that you have the hybrid - they seem to be keeping their value better than the ecoboost.

Hybrid, probably so. My dealer, Philadelphia, said they would have easily sold 3 times as many Hybrids as EcoBoost in 2022 and 2023 but they could not get the Hybrids allocations in those years. I'm like most people, I use a 5x9 trailer to haul stuff and never have a need to haul more than 2,000 lbs. I hope to never give up my 41 mpg.

Sticker price (with same options) from 2022 XLT to 2025 XLT (+AWD) is almost exactly $10,000.

Love the color, and like you I am also an old geezer. Your garage is too clean. One other thing, sell the ladder we don't need to be climbing at our age. What did you do with the mother Mavs?

That's the secret to a tidy garage. Trade the vehicle in before it needs the first oil change😀

The real question, exactly how many cats does he have? That's a lot of kitty litter😀

The timing on this thread made me laugh a bit. I was literally texting a great salesman this morning to calculate my cost for trading my 2022 for an essentially identical 2025 sitting on a local lot. Even after a $750 incentive, the numbers just didn't quite work for me. I asked myself "Will I be $12,000 happier if I do this trade?". And the answer was "no".

BTW, I was a bit surprised to look on cars.com and see plenty of 2025s sitting on lots near me (within 100 miles). Actual dealer inventory, not just customer purchases waiting for pickup. With real photos (not computer generated). Actually sitting on the lots for sale. In all kinds of trims and prices.

How the Maverick world has changed in three years. No more year long waits. Walk onto the lot, point to the one you like, get an incentive. Do some horse trading. Walk away with a new car. I missed that experience. Like the people in the tv, "it's baa-ack".

PS: I learned something today. You cannot combine the Veterans discount with other Ford incentives. You only get the higher of the two. At least according to the dealership.
I see they still only honor the Veterans discount if you are less than 2 years from separation. Odd.

Ford Maverick 2025 Maverick 2.0 is here -- my 4th in 4 years Screenshot_20250325-172250

That is so weird. I'm 20 years retired, and they recognized it two years ago...

Don't get the wrong idea, I am just an old retired working man but during and after the pandemic, chip shortage, Mav's long wait tines and dealers add ons people kept offering me more money than I paid for the last 3 Mavericks plus a 20 Ranger so whats a guy to do? :)
A few answers
1. 2 cats
2. laddar is for display ony
3. Other car is a keeper so gets the cover (68 MG)
4. Dessert Sand
5. Circle is front parking sensor
6. Have the PDF but sometimes you want to read it while in the truck figuring out the infoscreen (intuitive is not for all old people)
7. A bitter pill to swallow when my 1st 22 Lariat was 28 OTD and my 25 was 38 OTD but selling the other 3 helped with the pain.
8. Now all I need to do is find the tachometer display (2.0). I know where its suppose to be

are you coming out ahead on these sales? I could see that maybe happening a couple of years ago but now? seems a lot less likely. I can't say I understand selling a vehicle that soon unless I needed something different which obviously isn't the case for you since you keep buying the same thing.

1. Found (added) the tach display
2. Without going into details I made enough selling 3 Mav's to almost cover the upgrade cost of the 25. Agree those silly money days are over.
