Storage box that fits the Maverick bed perfectly.

If anyone has been looking for a storage box to keep in your mav, this one fits perfectly between the wheel wells of the bed, and if you need full use of the bed while youre out and about, it also fits comfortably in the back seat.

It feels solid without being too heavy, has a water proof seal -- a divider you can swap to either side and a bin shelf -- molded in handles on each side and wheels on one end.

What do you think about the swing out box? I’ve considered it, but seems like it would be in the way.

It's fine, wish it locked in the open position as well. I got it during a ford sale and used my points, so it was only $36 out of pocket -- no chance I would pay $240.

I got the passenger side so it wouldn't block the outlets on the left side of the bed.

And actually, you're right. I looked around a bit, and a hinged plastic box at $100 is about average now. We count car repair and work time by bottles of beer (1 beer = 1 hour), so I suppose we should equate gear costs to bottles of scotch, and this is a 2-bottle plastic box.

I don't have an immediate need but may pick up one for the future.. If the quality is there, that's a very fair price, about the cost of a reasonably good lunch....

They're OK. Wish it was stiffer on the long sides. They flex enough that the shelf falls in. The bracket also sticks out enough to be in the way if you want to haul plywood.

This appears to be taller.
It's height right there up against the cover, is because it is screwed to 2x4's fit into the slot system in the bed.
Wanted a little bigger flat space under it.
Not water proof, unless I added a seal to the lid, but I've yet to discover any dust any it. And it's under the cover anyway.
Not going into the backseat either as temp area.
I can remove it by myself still - have to go up and twist slightly to get long 2x4 out. I call it a theft deterrent.
