That is the shipping pressure and is reduced by dealer when prepping for test drives or sale. Helps prevent flat spots when sitting for long time as well as when tied down in rail car and parking at plant!40 psi seems high for the tire pressure.

I keep mine at 40 great for the road and distance driving40 psi seems high for the tire pressure.
