It cracks me up how the Maverick's interior is called "low rent".
I'll give them that is does have hard plastics abound that scratch easy but it is well put together and comfortable.
Furthermore my "mid-level" XLT has a heated leather wrapped wheel, heated front seats, heated mirrors and windshield wiper bay....it has outlets in the cab and bed, with led lighting in the bed, moonroof, auto climate control, android auto/apple carplay, remote start, FordPass remote start,.....
I'm just really struggling to see where it is "low rent".

I get the need for reviewers to point out the 'spartan' interior of the lower Maverick trims, but they seem to forget one of their basic lead points . . . this is an affordable truck. The Lariat with its lux package gives me everything I NEED in a truck interior. Brings to mind a friend of mine who was drooling over the interior of a new Chevy Silverado High Country. Ok, some wood like finishes and more padding in the interior, (not sure why one needs a padded dashboard . . . you putting your head there?), but the seats are same color code as the Lariat and I don't see too many more safety and convenience features. Sticker price here in CA . . . $79k.
While understand here in America we don't always purchase according to need, that is too much truck for my needs. At the same time, my Lariat gives me a ton of "wants" and fulfills my needs.
All this to say the Maverick fills a perfect niche in the truck industry.

I see where a mobile home is listed for sale in Montauk (Hamptons) NY for $4,400,000.00! The trailer park is water front!

How about a used tiny home built by hippies on a 18ft trailer for $60,000? No land included, on an island where an up developed acre in the hills costs $250,000!

agreed you can get a base Ranger for about the same money. but at least they didn't state the Tremor has a 4K tow package like so many of these so called auto journalists.
