Sorry, I still can’t figure out the search icon on my iPhone, was going to post it along with that thread, but… Anyway got it ready to store it for winter in garage. 80 Z-28, special order latter half of 79, waited 9 months (sounds like Maverick’s for some). Getting harder and harder to get in and out of, that’s why I drive the Mav more! Time to sell!

Wow - that is clean! Hang onto it if you can.
My other ride is a 2013 Mustang, wont be long until it is parked for the winter.

God, with the headlight covers, door bumper strip and window louvers this thing is an 80s time capsule

My friend has about 10 Camaros, I wonder if he'd be interested in this ...

It’s going to be for sale and it is insured by Hagerty, they say it’s worth $34 grand but I doubt it! That’s just not reality today. Stored every winter, never seen snow, only time it gets wet is when I wash it. Now if I could only look after my Mav that well…..

Aside from the '25 Lariat Hybrid AWD, I have this. '12 Porsche Cayman R. WAY more expensive to keep than the Mav - just had service done on it and it cost me $3K. Plus they told me I'm going to need front brakes soon (thanks to the track days the car has seen) which is going to set me back another $2K. Sorry - it's a LOT more fun to drive than the Mav. But the Mav gets driven a lot more.

"Harder to get in and out of". That's the reason the seller of my Miata was getting rid it.

Oooo, I want the Cobra replicar. Bet it would be pretty good with a newer V-6 or a turbo 4.

We had five vehicles but I sold one so now we're down to four. My wife has a Toyota Highlander.
In addition to the Maverick I have a Mustang GT convertible which is my fun car for the summer. It gets stored in the winter.

I also until recently had a mint 1996 Thunderbird with only 55K miles. But we picked up a car for our teenager daughter and unfortunately something had to go. The Thunderbird was almost never driven and was more of a sentimental car so I made the touch decision to sell it.

I drove my '06 Miata GT for nine years and 70k miles.

I tell you, it got smaller and lower every year!

hopefully it gets that ford 2.5 within the next year; I need to move first. [it was a jointly developed engine back when Mazda was almost a Ford subsidiary. But ford built it bigger and a lot harder]

We bought my wife a 24 Venza after we got the Maverick. Upgraded our 98 Avalon.

Our best friends bought a 24 Venza Hybrid a while back. That is the last year they made the Venza. I didn't even know Toyota had built that one as a Hybrid. It does great, about 43-47 mpg combined, but mostly driven in the city.
