**Main commit is how many units were originally allocated for the week. In this case how many were allocated for build week 45. Example, I have 2 allocations for week 45. I will have 2 units scheduled on Thursday. Some dealers will have "revised" allocations for certain weeks. All the scheduling sheet is saying, Ford is committing to scheduling what they(ford) committed to originally**

Curious, it says trailer hitch 4 pin. Does that mean 4K tow package is not currently in limited availability?

Dammit! Trailer hitch is back on the list!
I put it back on my 24 reorder (after pulling it from my 23 order) since it didn't look like a problem going forward.

Tow Hitch constraints usually only applied to the stand-alone option, not anything with the tow package. Meaning Ford anticipates it has enough hitches (wiring harnesses are really the issue) to satisfy all orders with tow packages but not enough to satisfy those PLUS the stand-alone hitch options.

Again, some constrained item orders will still get built, just not all of them.

Reminder those limited items are for November only. Likely all that means is Ford used up their planned allotment for November last week. Once Ford gets to scheduling December, those limitations should return to their usual constraint levels.

I thought by being there on order book open day that I was somewhat safe with an Ecoboost XL. One of the first few ecoboost orders at my dealer and early enough to nab a limited quantity of XL.

In the game of constraints, based on the "limited availability on XL", I now wonder... are prioritized Hybrid XL's going to eat up all the XL trim pieces? Despite being an early ecoboost XL, I'll fall outside the allotment.

When ever I read of trim availability it makes me think of the side badges (not likely the limited availability trim piece that holds things up), but brings a bit of humor to the frustration. To thinking a whole vehicle is delayed due to a plastic hood ornament

So in other words, since I was not scheduled last week and because I ordered an XL, then I will probably not get the golden ticket for at least the next three weeks.

Yep. Chances are low for this week. Improves when they open December scheduling.

Checked with my dealer.... they did remove the mud guards 3 weeks ago as I requested...

Well Ford, you never cease to amaze me with changing constraints. I should have left my order for a hybrid. The full size spare has been a problem, the hitch has been a problem, and the XL has been a problem. Also, you are not giving priority to all rollover orders!!!! I am just stating the facts!

These posts seem to be mostly people who "just" ordered a 2024 2 months ago.
Already impatient and frustrated speculating on whether they will not get scheduled next week because of a trailer hitch or whatever is the constrained feature of the day.
If you take off everything that is constrained each week you will end up with nothing - and no guarantee of getting it quicker. Order what you want and wait or strip it down to nothing and still wait.
You people are in for such a world of hurt.
You really have to take it back in some. Your real wait hasn't even really begun.
Yes some 2024 orders have already been scheduled but that's an anomaly.
- Still waiting for a 2023 - and there are even some still waiting for a 2022.
