Installed exhaust on EcoBoost Maverick over the weekend.

Cut the factory exhaust off in front of the muffler, did a 90 toward the passenger side into an Aero Turbine AT2525 then to a dual Carbon Fiber tip in front of the passenger tire. Tone is good, louder than stock but not obnoxious. There is some mild drone in the cabin at lower rpm's. Thought I could get by without a resonator, going to add one alongside the drive shaft mid body in a week or two. Hogan muffler and brake in Topeka Kansas did the install, those guys are great if you're in the Midwest and want an exhaust fabricated they are highly recommended. Those guys work on everything from everyday cars, hot rods, high performance sports cars, to a NASA championship series mustang GT.

The carbon fiber is actually a sleeve over a black powder coated stainless tip, the sleeve is vented at the back so as exhaust comes out the tip it's pulling air between the sleeves and the tips. The carbon fiber gets warm but not ridiculously hot.

This is almost exactly the setup I have been kicking around. Can you link the aero turbine model you got?

Any interior noise vids? It's my family car so want to keep it quiet -ish

So here's an update. Added a resonator behind the cat. It knocked out a lot of the drone... But there's still some drone. Aero Turbine AT2525 is a loud muffler. It does sound good but after almost 2 weeks it's got to go. If you want a loud rumbly deep sounding muffler the Aero and a resonator, yes you will need a resonator.... Is the way to go. When you cold start it in the morning you will wake up your neighbor and hear it through your entire house. I think it's louder than a super 10 flowmaster. There's about 22" between the drive shaft and the pinch welds. I'm going to cut out the Aero, do another 90° into a 2.5" 4x9x14" offset/offset Magnaflow 11236 with the tip in the same position. That should give me a similar deep rumbly sound at less than half the decibels. I'll post an update in a week or two.
