I love both of these trucks but not to which one I’ll keep. Shot a video on it. Which one would you hang onto and why? Not trying to spam, I’m honestly looking for feedback.

I don't know much about the tremor, but I own a hybrid maverick and it's plenty of truck for me. Also, the higher the gas prices get (and that will over the next decade) the better value the hybrid is.

It’s an easy decision. If you need the mileage the hybrid provides, that’s your truck.

Otherwise it’s the Tremor.

Easy Peasy.

Very true but you may forget about that when you hop in the Tremor.
Maybe..... I'm really happy with my hybrid, though. What more capability am I really gaining with the tremor? It's not payload. It's not towing. The off road stuff is there, but I would never, or almost never use it. I bet most people would be surprised as to how capable the FWD system in the maverick is, especially in the hybrid.

My $.02. If you want the tremor go for it. Not for me. I'll take the thicker wallet, thank you very much.

If you drive the tremor like you drive the hybrid (who doesn’t try and stay in full ev mode) what’s the best mpg you can get?

Interesting, but my guess is relatively few consumers are torn between the Tremor and the hybrid. It's really two (almost) completely different groups of people.

I had ZERO interest in the hybrid for myself, though I can respect and understand why it is so attractive for others.

To me, the real debate with the Tremor is Tremor vs. FX4 with 4K Tow package. For my money, the MOST CAPABLE Maverick overall is the FX4 with 4K Tow. While I will grant you that the Tremor has the edge in off-road capability, the 4,000-pounds of towing capacity combined with being able to do ALMOST everything the Tremor can do off pavement makes the FX4 4K Tow the winner by a nose.

The hybrid? Again, really not even in the discussion for my purposes.

Decide where are you going to use your Maverick the most? If it is roads and some off-road, go with the Hybrid.

When I've ordered mine, that had been the deciding factor and selected 2.0 engine, Lariat package with 4K towing plus other chachkies. Yet to feel bad about my choice...

I’m literally in the same boat! Have a first edition hybrid and a tremor that is slated to be at the dealer next week.

dont know which unicorn to drop so current plan is to keep both, but seems unnecessary.
If it helps I'll take the first edition hybrid off your hands ;)

Great feedback folks. I’m still changing my mind 10 times a day on it. Super fortunate either way.

Combined with being able to do ALMOST everything the Tremor can do off pavement makes the FX4 4K Tow the winner by a nose.
This is quite the stretch. Approach/Departure angles alone plus the AWD system. If all that is being done in soft roading some well beaten trails the FX4 will do what needs to be done but they are really not comparable off road.
