As a landlord, I'm curious what your experience is with renters in today's extremely competitive rental market? How did Covid-19 affect you or your renters? Did you have anyone who refused to pay?Age: between 50-55
Occupation: FT ride share driver and landlord
Hobby: home renovations and furniture restoration
I'm getting the Maverick as a 2nd vehicle. I've had a truck in the past, and I miss it. It's an added expense and annoyance to have to rent a Uhaul to go to HomeDepot or the dump. Also, it'll be much easier to pick up pieces of furniture off the curb in a truck, rather than having to shove them in the back of a Chevy Cruze.
I don't. I'd feel very self conscious parking my car outside the dollar store if I drove a Bentley.Oh I soooo want a Bentley!!!!!
Welcome my "Army Brother from Anotherr Mother"!! I was in from 1981-1993 as a “Distinguished Armored Technician”. I became a “Computerized Distinguished Armored Technician”, (AKA Jedi Tanker), then was on Recruiting duty from 1989-1992 and “Put ‘Em in Boots”. Finished as a Jedi Tanker.40. IT Service Delivery Manager. So, I get to work from home and manage a team of developers all over the country.
I have also served in the Army as a broadcast journalist and have a masters degree in management. So, I know how to research, jump to my own conclusions, and then stubbornly stick with them.
I only did four years but spent over a quarter of that in warzones with the 10th Mountain or 18th Airborne. I figured after surviving two warzones with only being hit broadside by a truck being my largest injury, I should quit while I was ahead.Welcome my "Army Brother from Anotherr Mother"!! I was wondering how polls get created, so I investigated the process - at least far enough along to figure out how it would work...One poster suggested that I should have conducted a poll. Had I know how to do that I would have...I'm 74 HELLO! So if someone out there wishes to assist me, than great, I am always accepting of help. Otherwise direct the negativity elsewhere.
I was lucky that none of my tenants lost their jobs. So I missed no rent during covid. As a landlord, I'm curious what your experience is with renters in today's extremely competitive rental market? How did Covid-19 affect you or your renters? Did you have anyone who refused to pay?
