I think it could look pretty decent. It's not tacky as some of those tape on ones which were popular a few years back. It's quite subdued by comparison.

BTW I like the hood graphics!
Thanks! Looks better when it's clean.

I would get a second hood, cut it open properly and fit the inside of the hood with a rain drip pan(with drains) and a heat extraction duct that lets heat rise form the turbo side of the motor.

I dozed off after reading the OP and then woke up 10 minutes later in a cold sweat shaking uncontrollably and weeping hysterically having dreamt that I waited over 2 years for my Maverick and it came in with that hood vent on it.

I am feeling much better now, thanx!! :D

Why be a poser hood owner? If you want a custom hood, build one or have someone build it for you.

And before anyone says anything, I had this prototype built back in 2004.

IMO. I would leave it w/o. You already have the graphics on the hood. It would take away from it. But opinions are like buttholes, everyone has one. At the end it’s whatever you like on your truck.

Just remember to keep telling yourself: everyone is laughing with you, not at you.

I'd say no, except that I recall drilling into the trunk of my 70's Celica to put on the worlds ugliest spoiler when I was 18. Sometimes you just gotta go a little nutzoid.

A no for me. But I like the decals on the hood.
