XLT Wheels options?

When I look at different pictures of XLT models some have lighter, almost chrome, looking wheels and some have darker grey wheels. On the Ford website they look dark grey. Is it possible to spec. out the lighter wheels?

The standard XLT wheels all are the same color, dark gray. Optional wheels are a different style and lighter in color. The Ford website shows what wheels are optional for the XLT.

I have looked and see no optional wheels for the XLT. Can you tell me where to look?

So I looked again and only saw the one standard wheel option. I changed the engine choice from hybrid to eco boost and it pulled up the three options you showed. I guess only dark grey wheel is available for the hybrid. Weird.

That's just nuts, why would Ford do that

See if the dealer will order an EB with the optional wheels, and swap them for you. Or maybe you can buy a set of takeoff wheels, it's pretty common for people to drive trucks home and have aftermarket wheels installed. Of course they wouldn't order anything but the standard wheels in that case. But they might have optional wheels if they were buying from dealer stock.

Some members have purchased take offs or used from other Ford products that look very nice and some are much lighter in color if you don't like the dark gray. Obviously you need to make sure the wheel, tire size, bolt pattern and offset are appropriate. I personally like the XLT wheels but I bought a Lariat with a little more bling on mine.

I have the standard wheels on my XLT , love the color.

Wheels are sold with packages.
1st set is Standard FWD
2nd is FX4
3rd is Standard AWD

K, but on the EB version, you can still select either of 3 different wheels, some may be an up-charge, but the OP advised their were no options on the Hybrid version. Doesn't make sense to me.

I have the standard wheels on my XLT , love the color.

Those look great with the truck color.

it may be different for 23, but the standard xlt wheels are same for hybrid & awd. The AWD did have "optional" wheel choices for the bigger all terrain falken tires or the unique FX4 black wheels packaged. The xl package had steel wheels only & the lariat had 18 inch wheels options

It’s probably only showing the standard FWD option since you can’t add AWD or FX4 to a Hybrid.

Different pictures with different lighting make it look like different wheel colors.
In the same vein, I had no idea what my HPR XLT would really look like until I got it. And what I have found is that it depends on the light. Sometimes it looks orange, sometimes it looks red. But always great!
Yes, I'm still in love. Just got back from a 5600 mile road trip/vacation, and it ran great and my cumulative overall mpg for 6800 miles is 42.4 mpg. No complaints! I will write more later.
