I've seen quite a few working Mavericks, but haven't noticed the trim level. I did notice that my water utility had hybrid XLTs, though. I don't know if they got those because XLs weren't available, or if they did it for higher resale value.

In my neck of the woods, there’s about five companies that have a fair amount of these in their fleets. I figured the Maverick would be an excellent option for so many businesses

The "Steelies" are the give away on trim level.
Quite a few Working XLs in MKE Metro.
Have Not seen any XLTs with Steelies...

Have been trying to catch a photo of a Milwaukee DPW mav. The Supervisors/Bldg Inspectors are White" in color, while the general units are "yellow"..
Seen one (maybe same one ) three times now..
Don't want to crash mine, trying to take a picture of it...

They're everywhere around here. Usually being used as delivery vehicles for auto parts stores, exterminators and pool cleaners. And it's almost always the cheapest XL. Sometimes they'll spring for an XLT but nothing more than that.

Last oil change at the dealer my truck was pretty muddy and full of tool bags from a trip to the cabin. They wash it every time they do anything to it so I wasn't worried. The guy who did the change said it's nice to see a truck being used as a truck and had the kid washing run it through twice and wash the floormats.

Mine looks like it’s been out working in bad weather and on Georgia red clay roads.
It’s most likely going to rain every day for the next week or more.
At least it’s above freezing so no ice.
There’s a certain group of people that tell me I should wash my new Maverick. Some look at me funny for riding around in a dirty vehicle.
They buy into the wash club at our local car wash.
they must not be seen in a dirt covered pick up truck unless they just came out of the woods.
When I see dirty trucks I think they all look like work trucks.
