Windows Laptop No USB A (Adapters Work?)

Hi there. I've got a quick question...

Anyone have any experience using a USB A to C adapter with Forscan and the OBD Link EX? My windows laptop only has USB C inputs.

I second the question. I’m working with an Apple notebook with only two USB ports.

As much as I hate to say it, that is correct. (Typed on my new-ish MacBook Air)

There is an iOS version of Forscan, but it doesn't write code. I think it is mainly useful for OBD monitoring.

For the full version of Forscan, if you had an Intel-based Mac, you might could run Windows in Boot Camp or a VM, but it seems like it would be a hassle. I am resigned to using a spare Windows laptop we have laying around...

I run FORScan on my Mac for years thru bootcamp. Works fine.

Also even if you do have a Windows laptop, it can't have an ARM processor. I learned this after buying a laptop for FORScan use.
