My 2005 Ranger will most likely out live me. But....given my age, that may not be saying much. :ROFLMAO:

I bought a 2013 Subaru Outback new 9 years ago, and i only have 57K miles on it. that's my current daily driver but i have a 15 year old eager to drive as soon as she turns 16, so....i'm in no hurry to get the maverick. timing is not an issue for me at all....btw, as you can imagine, i've had zero with the outback

2009 Fusion, under body is rusting significantly to the point my mechanic wanted me to get another car by last year. Ordered a '22 maverick and have had to roll over \ re-order a '23... The son's '16 focus and wife's '17 focus are good.
You haven't had any transmission problems with either Focus? If not, count your blessings!

2007 CRV 168k. Been very reliable but is starting to have some small oil leaks. Down to about 20mpg but I can’t complain it has served me very well. Should have another year left in it while I wait on my ‘23 hybrid. I also have a ‘23 AWD 4K on order and may take that if it gets built first.

While we wait, do you think your current car will make it until your Maverick delivery date? I have a 2013 ford focus with 130k on it and it looks like I will have to make sure it passes inspection in Feb, but really don't want to re-register in July 😳. If something happens, we will go down to 1 car as a couple.
My 2016 Buick has no problems and runs like new but it's promised to a 17yo and I need a truck.

I'm driving a 2000 Chevy Impala with 184k miles on it. I pray I can make it last until next year when hopefully I can get the Maverick I ordered

I was very hopeful when I ordered my Mac last September that my 03 Ranger would do.

Pretty quickly it developed a few issues and i really needed a back seat for the car seat. Sold it for much more than I paid for it in 2016 and i still see it kicking around the neighborhood.

Picked up a 05 Vibe w/160k and it's still kicking. Rattles like a beast and needs new tires but I'll be throwing the nice snow tires on soon and it should be golden. Going all summer without AC got kinda hot sometimes for the kiddo in the back seat, bit we never went far enough to be concerned.

What really sucks is probably going to be delivering in last December but got it last week. Lost a few grand in trade value and had to pay registration fees last month. Happy we finally got it last week but a huge disappointment.. We just have to suck it up and move on… or we can just bellyache about how we were F’d. I choose just move on.

2021 Mach-E, have access to my gf’s old 2012 Mazda 3. I think I’ll be good. I’ll actually decide if I’m down with owning two vehicles, or if I’ll just sell the Mach-E, although I love it!

Yall worried about your new cars(cars that are too young to buy alchohol are new cars to me):ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:

Our 93 Grand Cherokee is my wifes daily driver, we also have a spare 96 Bronco but it gets random emission code issues. I drive a 91 Comanche to work everyday and all day at work on the farm, back and forth up the trails, idling for too long, onto the compost pile, and occasionally through the river. The motor is getting blow bly and the trans has been letting go in reverse for about 2 years. My wifes Cherokee is a V8 and only has about 210,000 miles on it. We cleaned up the interior and fixed a few annoyances about a year ago, the outside is a thin faded roll on bedliner coating. Motor is strong though new radiator, water pump, ps pump a few years ago. Got brakes in the shop to put on it. We have $3800 (including $1600 purchase and 2 sets of tires)invested in the Cherokee over the course of 6 years of regular use.

I have no doubt they will keep us rolling till our Tremor comes next year. If they dont I will just put a rush on the restoration of our 1980 Eagle wagon we bought for $600 with a blown motor a year ago.
Always had a soft spot for those little Eagle wagons. Cool rigs.

When I ordered mine last year I still had a paid off 2009 Focus with 135k miles. 3 months after I ordered the Mav, I totaled the focus. I Tried to last until the mav came in with only one car for the family but I caved and bought the wife a dodge journey and I took over her 2018 chevy trax (80k) as my commuter. I still owe on it but I should be able to get a $2-3k in equity toward the mav so I think I will be ok.

2005 F150 w/298K miles on it was laid to rest two months after I order my Maverick. I am within 2 weeks (fingers crossed) of receiving my July 2021 order. Last check in it was sitting on a train in South Chicago. 16 month journey coming to an end.
