Not sure if the Tarus have the same lug pattern. I think any 315 mh tpm's will work (not sure on that one either)Looking at set of complete Tarus take offs, with the installed sensors work on a maverick?
They do not show to be compatable. And therefore at the very least would require a programing tool not just the activation tool. I don't know but being an older design I would doubt that it has all the same functions that the preprogrammed newer model does. (Save $$ buy new ones the ones on the wheels are how old and the batteries only last 8-10 years or 100k miles).Maybe temperature, maybe revolutions per minute, maybe ? I understand new ones tested and ready to go(might already used somewhere) will be mounted on inside of tire and among other things will report tread wear.Looking at set of complete Tarus take offs, with the installed sensors work on a maverick?
Not really, I usually buy tires at Discount and have them replace all sensors when I buy tires after 100k miles. They use their choice. May consider dealer since sensors are getting so damn integrated with make model and year of vehicles. I am 80 now and expect other than tires to just use dealer. On my lariat maverick at 15k miles my Michelin primacy have 7/32" left of original 8.5/32" so they are pretty much on track for the 65k warranty at 2/32". I normally replace at 4/32" or whenever I experience hydroplaning. No flack from discount, at least in past, getting milage adjustment for unused treadwear with having their certificates. Ford dealer did tell me at my oil change that they honored tire makers rebate and also would do free alignment on new set of 4 though I did not ask if that was standard or only a current "special"?
I myself got a whole new set of 4 off Amazon under $40 for my summer wheels/tires so I can use my OEM wheels/tires for the winter. Many options ifs you google the part#’sOK, would all new Ford tpms be the same ?
