Because it was nearly free with a Spray in bedliner.

I added the bed utility discount package for the spray in bed liner & cargo management system. The truck is built but the sticker now shows a $225 charge for "6-Dlink bed connectors" and then a $225 discount. My understanding is the lux package includes the Dlink bed connectors (part of the 10 tie downs in the bed, 2 on floor, 2 on tailgate, and 6 D links)? I don't see the "cargo management system" the 2 rails with cleats, showing on the sticker? Really didn't want it, but if it was free with the SIBL, why not?

"6 D-link connectors" is just what Ford uses on the window sticker/in WBDO(DORA) for the cargo cleat rails for whatever reason.

I was wondering if that would be the case (1st time truck owner), but both times I have really used the bed I found them quite valuable. Nice to have a tie down spot not buried by what you just put in the bed.

But are movable tie down points that much of a bonus? IDK? 🤷🏻‍♂️

For those items, yes. It was a situation where I was limited on how tight I could make each strap before starting to damage the furniture. I had to place more straps at certain strong points on them. The elevation and lateral adjustability sure came in handy. If you need to re position something, you can slide the clamp back a notch to relive some tension and then put it back after without having to mess with the ratchet.

If you're hauling more uniformed shapes like storage totes or the like, probably not though.

I have them. I've used them.
I don't think I've ever moved them.

You should have ordered it with the SIBL for the -$225 discount so it was effectively free with the SIBL option.

But you can get it aftermarket from Fairway Ford for $250: https://www.fairwayfordparts.net/oem-parts/ford-bed-divider-kit-nz6z99286a72a

Or just make your own from Unistrut.
So actually one needs to have both of these , the bed divider kit and the cargo management kit ? One is the rails and one is the divider? Since my truck is being built next week I need to be paying more attention to this stuff. :)
