Whats the deal with everyone installing Lasfit's LED bulbs? I have no issues with my stock setup, want to make sure I'm not missing anything here.

I can hear Jerry Seinfeld asking this now 🤣

Seriously though I have the same question.

I upgraded the reverse lights to the lasfit and they are much brighter. At night time it helps with the clarity of the camera.

For sure the brighter reverse lights helps when reversing!
the tailgate light also is a no brainer but why stop there? change them all out..

I can tell you that I love the switch backs look in the front..

People seem to like the brighter and cooler LED bulbs. In many cases they just look better. Also, in theory they should last a long time, but that’s not always the case with some of the cheap imported aftermarket units.

There are some lights on the Maverick that really do look better with LEDs, namely:
1) The cargo lights
The factory incandescent bulbs just look dingy and yellow in the clear lens. I notice it everytime I walk from the truck. Well worth changing these.
2) Backup lights
Changing these definately improves rear camera vision at night. Looks better in the clear lens too.

But the factory red/amber stop/turn signal lights look OK with the incandescent color spectrum, and they are very expensive to change to LED, so I left them as is.

The side market lights are a 50/50 decision. The small LEDs are cheap and run cooler in the small plastic housing, but not a big visual impact.

Thanks for the helpful explanation

Amazon's 2 top rated reverse light bulbs are Lasfit and Diode Dynamics (DD)
both are 15W 1600LM, Lasfit $45 w/1 year warranty, DD $20 w/3 year warranty

Do you have a link for either? Wondering which lumens I would need

I mentioned in another thread a couple days ago. I think it has more to do with how well people see at night individually and how much they tell everyone what is needed and how many of those people will do as they are reccomended. Its probably a social experiment by some college team that isnt allowed to dose students any more.

Brighter lights all the way around improves nighttime visibility and safety. I've put them on every vehicle I have ever owned and knock on wood have never been rear ended. They are bright.

I enjoy the change for the front daytime running lights from being default amber to being default white. Then they flash amber when the turn signal is activated, almost like they are two completely different bulbs.

My only slight gripe is that since the "white" stay on with the turn signal activated, the addition of the amber makes it a bit more like an amber/pink or a weak amber. But it still gets the point across, and I like that the change in color draws the eye when the signal is turned on.
