Who knew (or is it Whom Knew... no Who Knew sounds better) that my MY24 Lariat Hybrid was also equipped as a Plugin Hybrid. I checked my window sticker and did not see that as a listed option. I am positive that if FORD was aware of this, they would have charged me at least $1000 more for this optional feature. It will be a bummer that this added option may be obsolete with a magical software update from FORD in some future calendar quarter in some future year. Now all I need is to find a water bottle I like for the driver’s door and ALL my first world problems will be taken care of.

Make sure that charger negative is on a ground point/bolt somewhere and NOT on the battery negative post. Will screw up the battery management system if you connect to the negative post on the battery.

5/16 -18: Everbilt 5/16 in.-18 tpi Grade 5 Zinc-Plated Flange Nut (2-Pack) 803948 - The Home Depot

I put one nut flange side up, then the eyelet for the maintainer, and finally a second nut with the flange down. That way it locked the maintainer cable in tight.
