Seen one person used a Corsair and a other used a ranger block.

Anyone else ? Tips. Tricks ? Why not the full ranger engine ? The heads are the same last number.

My engine just blew

Ranger engine is set up for a "north / south" orientation whereas Corsair (and MKC...hint-hint) are set up for an "east / west" install...good luck with search and install.

Yes I do agree. But ford part number shows the Corsair and ranger to have the same block and I found them for $600 full long block

Block may be the same, head is likely different.

what happened to your engine, how many miles?
Maybe OP will let us know. My Assumption would be (1)Modifications/Tune, (2)Racing/Drag Strip. Think there's several members into that sport

Both use K2GZ-6049-A heads (through latest Corsair uses the B)
Well, there ya go...happy swapping. Looking forward to reading about the swap/upgrade.

I looked at the Corsair page and the 2026 has a 2.5l PHEV available. Is that what you're talking about swapping?

if you want more performance wait for the EV truck( if Ford has not decided to dumb it down to ICE specs) abuse will probably kill the 2.3 as well however if everything else is the same go for it(I am a hot rodder at heart, its just that my ideas never work out and are a waste of money) save yourself some frustration and put the stock type engine back in.
