From my understanding, if you order, it is at MSRP. If it is on the lot, it is over MSRP by 2k. With that being said, sometimes it can change. I will be transparent and answer any question I can that I know the answer to. If I don’t know, I will find out. We add three things on a vehicle purchase. Tax, tag (102) and doc (699).

I am not here to sell cars. I am here because I am excited about the MAVERICK. If I sell a few then so be it. I just wanted to say hello.
Everything sounded OK until you got to the $699 "doc" fee. To your credit, you seem to be forthcoming with information. I would love to visit Dahlonega again and pick up a Maverick (or two), but the "doc" fee is a deal breaker.

Part of something is better than all of nothing...

Do y'all do courtesy deliveries? I'm just down the road 10 miles but ordered from Chapman in PA.

not from PA, lol. Yes, we do deliveries all the time. If it is close, there is no charge, if it is in Maine, there would be a charge. 👍🏻

Cool, like I said, I am not here to sell cars.

Believe me, you pay it somewhere, trust me.
Out of curiosity, when is the last time you purchased a vehicle?
Dealers are not a non-profit business. I would be happy to elaborate, if needed, but probably better done in a phone call or pm.

I think docsmith1511 is asking if your dealership accepts courtesy deliveries from other dealers. His Maverick was ordered through Chapman in PA and will be drop shipped to a dealer of his choice. Hundreds of Maverick Truck Club members have ordered their trucks from three high volume dealers. The receiving dealerships typically charge about $250 to prep the truck. I think there are a couple of dealers in the Atlanta area receiving some of them.

Again, part of something is better than all of nothing...

If you want a CD near Smyrna, Wade Ford, represented by Valerie Hall, did an excellent job. Her fee for a CD was below that mentioned. As I understand, she is in fleet sales. Mine may have been her first retail Maverick to come through.

Do any of you GA Maverick owners live in Toccoa? Looking for someone who may live in the Shorewood Estate subdivision who may want to sell a property. Also have a relative who lives in Carlton.

Did they try to sell you any extra 🐂 crap items? Reason why I ask, the dealership closest to me said I was required to buy a third blinker (rapid system) for 399. I refused, spoke to the GM and they wouldn't waive that requirement. Luckily I found this forum and am now paying 4 percent below invoice instead of MSRP.

Maybe you could name that dealer as a heads up for the rest of us.

Cumming, GA. Yes, I've been there many years ago to pick up a new government car.

Rapid blinker? That's a new one on me. Yet another ripoff dealer add-on. Good to know.

If Ford would allow us to move orders the dealers would again be competitive.

Nearly all Georgia Ford Dealers charge a Doc Fee in this price range. My dealer charges $799.
