Where can I get a replacement front headlight?

I came out of work yesterday evening to find that someone had backed into my car and damaged the front right headlight and so body work as well.

I have a guy who can do the body work for me but I am curious as to where and if it’s even possible to get a replacement headlight right now??

The lights still work and everything but plastic is all broken.

Appreciate any advice!

That really sucks At least it's mostly minor. You'd probably have to talk to your dealers part department, I don't think there's anything aftermarket yet.

Get your insurance to pay for it. It's not an at-fault accident. Headlight assemblies are over $1k.

Search junkyards for a Mav writeoff. They will probably only charge 1/3 to 1/2 of new price.

Yeah if you aren't doing insurance, a junk yard is the place to go to save cash. Direct from a Ford dealership you are looking at $1200-1400.

Hit and run usually comes under your collision coverage and your deductible applies. Now if a deer hit it ............. 100% insurance coverage ...

ya insurance payout may be worth it depending on your specific policy but otherwise just search car-part.com for a maverick headlight - most yards will ship for a nominal fee and you'll get it much cheaper and likely faster than direct from Ford/parts bin store. bit of a pain to wade through all the front-end-smashed Mavericks but I saw plenty of rear-ended ones too with perfect headlights. Sort by grade if you're concerned.

Ok... maybe not that extreme, but it's a low life move. Out of curiosity, do you have a dashcam? Might be a good time to check out BlackBoxMyCar.com and invest in a solid setup with a battery pack if you park in congested areas often.

Rockauto seems to be about the best price I have seen.

Rockauto doesn't have any rear taillights and I had to get a BAP one for a Lariat. Extremely hard to find but ordered from a dealer online at about $350..used up my Ford points. I'm hesitant to use my NY policy insurance for anything except a major incident and my free glass coverage. I don't want to give them any reason to increase my premiums unless its $$$ accident.

eBay and random dealers online will usually have better prices than your local dealer. RockAuto is good to check too.

Right now, I'm seeing non-broken headlights starting at $500 on eBay. Make sure to read the description thoroughly to see if it's scratched or has any damage.

LOL you haven't shopped an automotive recycler lately have you.
Once they went from junk yards to 'automotive recyclers', they believe used parts are worth almost as much as new.
